Did you know that Gary Smith and Luc Verstrepen explained Qatar's new 4-way plans? posted: Jan 24th, 2023 The NSL News has followed the 4-way and 8-way teams from Qatar from the time when they entered the world of Formation Skydiving competition at the Dubai Championship 2011. The first members of the Qatar delegation were done with their AFF training at Skydive DeLand. Head coach Solly Williams and his assistant Katie Woods were working with the first 4-way lineups, on the ground and in freefall. There was a team from Qatar on the Dubai leaderboard a year earlier, which was not a part of the new program that generated the current Formation Skydiving delegation.

Did you know that Airbus have a new 8-way lineup for the next two years? posted: Jan 23rd, 2023 The NSL News covered the first FAI medals for Germany at world meets of formation skydiving competition since 1985 during the aftermath of the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2022. The story on 9 November 2022 featured the competition for the 3rd place in Eloy and Germany's 8-way history.
The success of an accomplishment like that has two sides. On one hand, it motivates competitors to continue and do even better in the future. On the other hand, it is a great opportunity to step back and finish an intensive career at a peak point.

Did you know that the Czech Indoor Open had record participation and 5 guest teams? posted: Jan 20th, 2023 The Czech Indoor Open 2023 did not only feature the country's three national 4-way indoor teams for the upcoming FAI Indoor World Championship 2023, HF Flying Circus in 4-way Open, HF Cubs in 4-way Women, HF Flying Rebels in 4-way Junior, as the NSL News reported on January 18th. The same event also had new record participation with a total of 22 teams at the Hurricane Factory in Prague.

Did you know that the German Airfource may challenge Airbus for the German outdoor title? posted: Jan 20th, 2023 EADS/Airbus lineups have been competing for Germany at all FAI outdoor world championships between 2003 and 2006, and then again since 2016. Thomas Mack, member of the current lineup, competed at the three FAI outdoor world championships in 2016, 2018 and 2022, and his current team mates (Sarah Mertes, Felix Pfeiffer, Alexander Prendinger) completed their first ten 4-way Open Class rounds at a world championship in Eloy last October, with Andreas Trögele still on camera.

Did you know that The HF Flying Rebels won the final showdown for the world meet slot? posted: Jan 18th, 2023 The Czech 4-way teams have been in full indoor swing since Jan Klapka opened the winter season with the November meet of the Czech Tunnel League. The two 4-way Junior teams, HF Flying Rebels and HF Chameleons, have completed 58 AAA Class rounds in the six meets within the same time frame, and the two Czech national 4-way teams, HF Flying Circus (4-way Open) and HF Cubs (4-way Women) are not far behind.

Did you know that the SVNE Indoor Fest preview shows promising leaderboards? posted: Jan 17th, 2023 The NSL News announced the comeback of the SkyVenture New Hampshire Indoor Fest with the preview on 28 December 2021. It was another comeback effort of an event after the implications of the corona virus crisis.
The review of the competition on 9 February 2022 provided background information of the event's history and details of the successful comeback. The number of teams last year was not even close to the record numbers before the break. However, the 13 teams at SkyVenture New Hampshire were at least showing that the popular event was happening again, and the message was heard.
