posted: Oct 5th, 2022 The runup to the USPA Nationals 2022 was not only challenging for XPG4 and their additional activities with the Indoor Cloud League. The situation was the same for all participants and organizers who are involved with indoor and outdoor events both. Skydive Midwest NEXT members have been organizing the Indoor Cloud League events in the midwest region. Emily Bombardi and Eric Daniel added ICL events at iFLY Colorado Springs and re-activated outdoor competition for the Colorado Skydiving League, while competing in several events at the USPA Nationals. 4-way teams and competitors from Texas... Did you know that NMP PCH HayaBusa will be seated one more time in the last row?
posted: Oct 4th, 2022 Agera from Norway and NMP PCH HayaBusa had something in common last week. Both teams traveled to Florida at the peak time of the hurricane season, which is officially defined as the calendar period between June and the end of November. Hurricane season in Florida does not mean that a storm will hit, however, there is surely the potential that it could get on a path that causes trouble. Hurricane Ian did exactly this, and the path included Skydive City and Skydive DeLand both this time. The dropzone operators reacted early enough, secured planes and facilities, and no harm was done. Did you know that XPG4 has a very full plate with 4-way, 8-way and indoor Cloud League?
posted: Oct 3rd, 2022 The NSL News has pointed out often enough how busy the XPG4 agenda has recently been, even more so for the two team members who have been training and competing with XP8 at the same time, Jeana Billings and Michelle Karamon. Together they have been 8-way team members since 2018 and won their first 8-way title at the USPA Nationals 2018. As reigning USPA 8-way champions they added 4-way training and competition to their agenda and launched the XPG4 project with the beginning of the 2019 season. Did you know that Sorta were More Than Adequate in 10-way Speed?
posted: Oct 3rd, 2022 The NSL News wrapped up the live coverage of the USPA Nationals 2022 with the scores and videos of the 16-way and 10-way Speed events, which have traditionally concluded the Formation Skydiving competition of the national championships in the past. The last update directly from Skydive Chicago offered no surprises in the 16-way event, while the outcome of the 10-way Speed competition was very different. Did you know that Carl-Erik Tuv is much more involved in his Norwegian 4-way project than he may have expected?
posted: Oct 1st, 2022 Coach Solly Williams mentioned Norway's national team in 4-way Open a few times during the NSL Live Talk conversation on September 27th. He has been coaching Agera several times since the team was formed in 2019 as a part of the FS2020 project. Former Deland Norgies member Carl-Erik Tuv launched the project, with its headquarters at the skydiving center in Tonsberg, when he could not accept the situation any longer that Norway had no 4-way Open Class teams at FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving, or at any relevant and international competitions. Did you know that there is a strong 4-way momentum in Colorado?
posted: Sep 28th, 2022 The Colorado Skydiving League was one of the first leagues that followed Florida, Georgia and Texas when the National Skydiving League expanded and extended at the end of the previous millennium. Keith Walter, a former Executive Officer of the Golden Knights, founded the league in 1999 and joined the National Skydiving League's 4-way network in 2000. He handed the COSL operation over to Samer Haija for the 2002 season when he moved to North Carolina.
