News Article Did you know that Arizona Airspeed's Niklas Hemlin provided details of the British judging situation?
posted: Sep 1st, 2022 The first update from the British Outdoor Nationals 2022 on August 29th mentioned that Chimera coach Niklas Hemlin was live at the competition site, and that he would have more feedback of the judging situation at the British outdoor championships. Niklas Hemlin had brought unusual marks on the scoresheets to the NSL News attention. Point deductions due to "Camera angle/grip visibility" are nothing unusual. It was the placement of the penalties that caught the attention of the highly experienced 4-way competitor and coach. Arizona Airspeed and Niklas Hemlin have arrived at the competition... (more)
News Article Did you know that the French 4-way Open and 4-way Women combination won the French 8-way championship?
posted: Aug 31st, 2022 The French national championships in Formation Skydiving competition included an 8-way competition, as well. Three teams attended the event that was running parallel with the 4-way competition. The French national teams did not really need practice for double duties, as their lineups are not overlapping any longer. The NSL News reported on June 10th that France would eventually be fielding an 8-way team for the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving this October. National coach Mathieu Bernier did not have any plans for a French 8-way team at the upcoming outdoor world meet, until former... (more)
News Article Did you know that Apex create new British AAA Class opposition for Chimera?
posted: Aug 31st, 2022 The aftermath of the British Outdoor Nationals continues with the introduction of a new AAA Class team that took the 2nd place right away, after fending off Eros by nine points (149 - 140), still without putting any pressure on Chimera yet. This may change in the near future, as Apex have at least a 2-year plan. The 2022 season is a training year, and the real target is the British national outdoor championship in 2023. Apex have completed ten hours of indoor training so far, and they completed 18 training jumps before last weekend's British Outdoor Nationals. They will add more indoor training... (more)
News Article Did you know that Amnesya and Chimera seem to be very close to each other?
posted: Aug 30th, 2022 Last and not least of last weekend's national championship events, the 4-way teams in Italy completed their scheduled ten rounds. The skydiving center in Fano hosted the event once again, and the competition videos feature the scenic coastline of the Adriatic Sea, the part of the Mediterranean Sea on the eastern side of Italy. Amnesya won the 4-way title as easily as Chimera in Great Britain and Aerodyne Cypres Lille in France. None of the three national teams in 4-way Open for the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving in October had any serious opposition, even though former opponents... (more)

posted: Aug 29th, 2022 The French national teams completed their one and only outdoor competition before the FAI World Championships of Formation Skydiving, after the completion of all ten rounds at the skydiving center in Dijon last weekend. The NSL News reported during the preview of the meet weekend that the French 4-way Women lineup did not have their complete lineup for the national outdoor championships, after Pamela Lissajoux suffered an arm injury that occurred in the previous training camp. Sophia Pecout, double silver medalist in 4-way Women and 8-way for the French delegation at the FAI Tanay Mondial, was... (more)

The total of 29 teams completed all scheduled rounds, ten in the AAA Class, eight in the three other categories (AA - A - RRR).
