posted: Aug 25th, 2022 The stage is set for an exciting and very interesting meet weekend. The competition draws for the national outdoor championships in France, Great Britain and Italy are posted, and the teams in three of the world's Formation Skydiving powerhouses are prepared for Round 1 on Friday morning. News Article Did you know that 49 1/2 Finger Death Punch and CSC Constellation had their last test before the USPA Nationals?
posted: Aug 23rd, 2022 CSC Constellation was one of the busiest U.S. teams in 2021. The original lineup competed at four different A Class events before attending their first national championships in USPA's new 4-way Beginner category. They increased the scoring and performance level at each of the events and ended up in a jump-off extra round for the bronze medals at the USPA Nationals 2021. The lineup changed when CSC Constellation made plans for the 2022 season. The Midwest team would still be eligible for USPA medals in the A/Beginner Class, however, as most of the other A Class teams they decided to step up... (more)
News Article Did you know that two more Czech 4-way juniors posted their first outdoor scores?
posted: Aug 22nd, 2022 The Czech Open Outdoor Nationals 2022 brought together teams from three neighboring countries, the hosting nation, Slovakia and Hungary. The event took place in Prostejov, the skydiving center where NMP PCH HayaBusa won their first FAI world championship title in 2014. Prostejov had also hosted the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2009 and the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2012. None of the same three countries had participating teams at the same three FAI events. HF Flying Circus had just launched their team career at the Czech Rookie Class indoor events in 2014 when the Belgian 4-way world champions won for... (more)

It was based on the results at the August meet of the Midwest Skydiving League. USPA medal contender SDC Rhebellion XP was a major part of the preview, after completing all ten rounds on the MWSL weekend. League director Keith Conner followed up with the videos of the August meet, which allow a closer look at the participating teams, and especially at the current SDC Rhebellion XP performance a few weeks before Round 1 of the national championships. The timing... (more)
News Article Did you know that the French Tanay delegation deserved more credit for the double-silver?
posted: Aug 19th, 2022 The recent NSL Live Talk with four members of the Paraclete XP8 team (Jeana Billings, Michelle Karamon, Kirk Verner, Craig Girard) was exclusively covering the upcoming 4-way/8-way double-duty challenge at this year's FAI World Championships of Formation Skydiving. It is needless to point out once again how difficult it is to master this challenge, as the reigning XP8 world champions and other world class competitors in the past have tried to explain the enormous pressure that has to be dealt with at the same event. The conversation went naturally back to the double-gold challenges in the... (more)
