News Article Did you know that Denmark added AA Class competition to the national championships?
posted: Aug 10th, 2022 The most recent scores came from Denmark and the Scandinavian country's national outdoor championships. The AAA Class leaderboard features a change in the power structure, where a new CISM Denmark lineup outscored the reigning champions of 2021, Sequenz. Sequenz came back in 2019, after a hibernation period of almost a decade, as the NSL News reported on 9 July 2021. The new lineup made it through the two years of the corona virus crisis after the indoor comeback under the team name "Aetas Volat" at the Danish Indoor Nationals 2019 and returned to outdoor training and competition with Kjetil... News Article Did you know that UVASDM put pressure on Cometas in Brazil's 4-way Women competition?
posted: Aug 9th, 2022 Brazil's Outdoor Nationals 2022 included a separate 4-way Women leaderboard. Brazil is one of the few countries in the world with the separation of the AAA Class teams according to their gender at the national championships. The eleven AAA Class teams in Brazil competed actually in three different categories. Seven teams were eligible for the country's 4-way Open Class championship, three teams with all-female lineups had their own leaderboard, and Adventure Flyers were a guest team from Paraguay. News Article Did you know that Paraguay's Adventure Flyers have plans for their second world meet?
posted: Aug 8th, 2022 The NSL News featured a new country at FAI World Championships of Formation Skydiving on July 27th. It was 4-way team La Playa from Guatemala with plans to compete at Skydive Arizona in October this year. Most recently, there was a team from even further south in the Americas that appeared on the leaderboard of Brazil's Outdoor Nationals. Adventure Flyers from Paraguay were back in 4-way competition action in their South American neighbor country. News Article Did you know that the AA Class leaderboard of the Pre-Nationals is complete?
posted: Aug 6th, 2022 The combined AA Class leaderboard of the Pre-Nationals 2022 is complete, after Air Raid XP and Anion Flux XP both got their InTime evaluation and scores for the ten rounds. The NSL News update on August 3rd had provided some information of the both teams' situation while they were waiting for the judging. Air Raid XP, with Jeana Billings replacing Calvin Falk in the Outside Center slot, finished actually closer to USPA medal contender Spaceland Toxic than expected with their world champion substitute. Any 10+ average has brought AA/Intermediate Class teams into medal contention at USPA Nationals... (more)
News Article Did you know that Poland's Flyspot Sky4Four plan to attend their first outdoor world meet?
posted: Aug 5th, 2022 The NSL News provided an update from Poland after the late conclusion of the 2021 indoor season. An earlier update in January had directed attention to the impressive work for the sport by Jan "Geisha" Klapka in the Czech Republic and Zbigniew "Zbig" Kordzikowski in Poland. Both passionate Formation Skydiving competitors have been facing difficult times in the last three years, after they made great efforts to build up and grow the 4-way community in their respective countries to the level where it was before the worldwide crises. News Article Did you know that Netunos keep moving closer to INIT-Y in Brazil?
posted: Aug 4th, 2022 Brazil's outdoor championships generated new record participation with a total of 17 teams, with eleven of them in the AAA Class competition. There was no surprise on the top of the leaderboard where INIT-Y defended their national championship title successfully without too much trouble. George Narita in the Tail slot has won the 4-way title annually since 2018, together with Alisson Vargas and Jorge Neto since 2020. The current lineup, with 4th member Ricardo Pereira, won in 2021 and now again. No other 4-way team in Brazil than CTR Optimum/INIT-Y has yet reached the same 16+ level that different... (more)
