AZXP8 and XPG4 member Michelle Karamon organizes the upcoming meet without her ASL partner Eliana Rodriguez this time, and she gets coaching help from her 8-way team mate, Arizona Airspeed's Niklas Hemlin.

Did you know that Flyspot's 4-way Champions League has extended the time-frame for the meets? posted: Apr 28th, 2021 The Flyspot wind-tunnel in Warsaw, Poland, was built in 2014, and the Polish Indoor Open 2014 became the grand opening event. Flyspot Warsaw established the Polish Indoor Open as an annual wind-tunnel competition and then hosted the FAI Indoor World Cup in 2016.
Next step was the introduction of the Flyspot Liga in 2017, with regular live competitions for Polish 4-way teams and any visitors. The Flyspot Liga offered all four NSL categories (AAA - AA - A - RRR) at the indoor meets, and the Polish teams used them well to move up gradually from the beginner level to AAA Class competition.

Did you know that four Texas teams posted scores on the A Class leaderboard? posted: Apr 27th, 2021 The official judging of the first four Shamrock Showdown Cloud rounds by Russia's Tanay 8-way team will be delayed until the weekend. The South African national championships are currently taking place as a live event, and the InTime judging panel will only be able to resume with the Shamrock Showdown Cloud once the event is over.
In the meantime, the Texas Skydiving League has launched the 2021 season with another live event at Skydive San Marcos. The TSL 2021 season begins much earlier than last year when the three hosts (San Marcos - Houston - Dallas) restarted in August after the pandemic... (more)
Did you know that a preview of the Russian Tanay 8-way videos is now available? posted: Apr 25th, 2021 The first four rounds of the Shamrock Showdown Cloud's 8-way competition between the four best teams in the world are now complete. The ranking after Round 4 is still not available yet, as the videos of the Russian 8-way team from Tanay still have to be processed and judged by the same InTime panel that evaluated the other Shamrock rounds.
However, the Tanay 8 videos are available, and the preview allows a closer look at the first four rounds. The online preview resembles the first viewing at a live competition before the official scores appear on the viewing screens and the leaderboards.

Did you know that NSL and Americas Cup merged in 2001? posted: Apr 25th, 2021 The NSL News is going back in time once again before the next rounds of contemporary 8-way world class performances will get all the attention. There are still many events in the NSL archives which have not been covered yet. One of them was the integration of the Americas Cup into the NSL Network.
Alan Metni had joined Arizona Airspeed and launched the Americas Cup event series in 1998, a few years after the first season of the Florida Skydiving League in 1996. Did you know that Russia's Tanay 8-way team is the leader in 8-way experiences? posted: Apr 23rd, 2021 Yesterday's 8-way update was related to the Shamrock Showdown Cloud and the FAI Tanay Mondial 2020. It pointed out the new duel between Kirk Verner and Mathieu Bernier for the next gold medal in their respective collections.
Their 8-way lineups benefit heavily from the experiences that both have collected over their long time on the top level in the sport. However, there is another 8-way team with probably even more competition experiences on their side, the Russian 8-way team from Tanay.
In fact, the other three 8-way medal contenders for the world meet are even relatively new to 8-way competition... (more)
