The first separate 4-way Women leaderboard at a World Championship of Formation Skydiving was added in Spain 2001.
The guests at the NSL Live Talk, Eliana Rodriguez and Lena Jones, both competed at the first test events and at the first world meet. Eliana Rodriguez won the first FAI gold medals with Synchronicity, Lena Jones was the alternate for the bronze medal winner from Sweden, 4 Pleasure.

Did you know that Florida's ICL team at iFLY Tampa has 2021 scores for two consecutive months? posted: Feb 23rd, 2021 Florida's Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Tampa had a restart this year, as the NSL News reported on February 1st. The ICL 2020 season had been just as challenging for the Florida teams and competitors as for the whole Formation Skydiving competition community.
The restart event in January attracted enough participants to fill the ICL 14+ leaderboard at least with scores and videos for five of the six monthly ICL sequences. FSL team Jump Florida Furtherance and three ZEAL members brought some 4-way experiences into January's ICL group.

Did you know that there is air travel from Arizona to North Carolina this week? posted: Feb 22nd, 2021 It is still just as difficult as last year to run live skydiving competitions. However, Eliana Rodriguez and Michelle Karamon keep offering the events of the Arizona Skydiving League in Eloy as long as there is any interest in learning more about 4-way competition from the best.
Three teams had launched the ASL 2021 season in January, and two teams followed up last weekend. AZ Defiance were back with the same lineup as in January and completed all six rounds. Did you know that only four U.S. teams have defeated Arizona Airspeed in 4-way since 1994? posted: Feb 20th, 2021 The most recent NSL Live Talk, which had the 4-way Women event as the main topic on February 17th, featured once again Joey Jones as the anchor of the show. Joey Jones has provided plenty of commentary and insights over the years for the NSL News and with interviews at events.
His biggest accomplishment as a 4-way competitor was the world championship title that he won with DeLand Majik (Gary Smith, Solly Williams, Doug Park) at the FAI World Meet 2004 in Rijeka. The NSL News has mentioned the DeLand Majik story many times in the past.

Did you know that Matthew Iles replaces Kalle Pohjola in the Pro Team tail slot? posted: Feb 18th, 2021 The latest NSL News update from Finland on January 15th reported that the country's indoor 4-way champions of 2020, Just4Fun, had a change in the team's lineup. Mikael Kaulanen is back in action for Just4Fun and replaces Vesa Vuorenkoski who has to take a temporary break for medical reasons.
The latest news from Finland are good ones, as Vesa Vuorenkoski has already restarted with his own indoor training and might be back in action earlier than expected.

Did you know that the 4-way Women history was the topic of the latest NSL Live Talk? posted: Feb 17th, 2021 The story of the 4-way Women event began shortly after Dawn English became the first female 4-way competitor winning an FAI gold medal in the Open Class competition. It was the FAI World Cup 1998 where she outscored the best 4-way Open Class teams in the world with Space Center FX.
