Did you know that the Golden Knights begin to put pressure on Airspeed XP8? posted: Mar 8th, 2021 It is not new that the Golden Knights Gold team win either outdoor or indoor bronze medals at U.S. national championships. In fact, this year's 3rd place at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021 was the 4th consecutive time for the Gold team in this finishing position.
The last USPA outdoor bronze medals were taken by Jennifer and Matt Davidson, Kurt Isenbarger, Sean Sweeney, with Scott Janise on camera in 2016 and 2017, the same lineup who won the indoor championship at Paraclete XP in 2016.
The indoor bronze medal lineup was the same in 2018 and 2019 (Jennifer and Matt Davidson, Drew... (more)
Did you know that the three 8-way medal winners at Paraclete XP will be back in outdoor action very soon? posted: Mar 6th, 2021 The aftermath of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021 continues with an update of the Indoor Cloud League activities.
Not only the coaches of the Paraclete XP team managed to post ICL 2021 scores and videos before the indoor championships, as the NSL News reported on March 4th. Skydive Midwest NEXT did the same in February. The complete lineup performed the two Open Class sequences (AAA/AA). Lauren Byrd, Gorka Amian and Greg Oldendick also player-coached the other three February lineups through the additional four ICL sequences.
There were several ICL participants who would later make... (more)
Did you know that there have been several world-class moves from the outside to the inside center slot? posted: Mar 5th, 2021 It was to be expected that the online audience of the live streaming from the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021 would include highly interested competitors from Belgium. It was afternoon in Europe when the teams entered the flying chamber in North Carolina, and the competition day was over roughly at midnight for the audience overseas.
One of the NMP PCH HayaBusa members, new inside center Michele Silvi, followed the live streaming action as much as possible, while his team mates took it easier and waited patiently until the video footage of the competition rounds would become available... (more)
Did you know that XP4 and XPG4 members joined forces once again for Paraclete XP's ICL team? posted: Mar 4th, 2021 The NSL News pointed out on February 27th that last Saturday was a very busy day for Jeana Billings and Kirk Verner. They both completed a total of 24 competition rounds on their home turf at the first day of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021.
It is actually nothing unusual for the two reigning 8-way indoor world champions. Their daily schedule of training and coaching is not much different during normal operation, and without an indoor or outdoor competition taking place.
Organizing Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League team and events is a part of Jeana Billings' routine, together... (more)
Did you know that Arizona Airspeed continue with experimental engineering? posted: Mar 2nd, 2021 The aftermath of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021 begins with a very interesting topic. It is related to the last round of the competition, which the old and new U.S. indoor champions mastered with another sole highscore.
The conversation with Chris Kuhlmann and Joey Marshall after the first six rounds on Saturday touched the same topic already without the latest video evidence of Round 10. It was related to the engineering of Arizona Airspeed's broadening continuity plan.
Chris Kuhlmann and Joey Marshall explained how the current lineup has become very creative with finding new... (more)
Did you know that Airspeed's Chris Kuhlmann and Joey Marshall had time for NSL Live Talk on Saturday? posted: Feb 28th, 2021 The 4-way teams were back in the flying chamber at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021 before Airspeed XP8 would get on the mission to finish the 8-way competition with a new record average.
It would require a high score for the first sequence on the second meet day. The very fast Round 7 offered the opportunity for that, and Airsped XP8 took it on with all energy they could muster. They came even close to breaking the standing 8-way indoor world record for a single round that the French 8-way team posted in Round 6 (M,Q,J,16) of the FAI Indoor World Meet 2019.
The judges did not like... (more)
