Did you know that Agera FS2022 is now launching complete formations into the flying chamber? posted: Mar 15th, 2021 It was exactly a year ago when the young Norwegian team Agera was in DeLand and finished off an outdoor training camp. It was right at the beginning of the corona virus pandemic, which had just arrived in Norway, when the team left the country heading to Florida.
The French delegation had already been ordered to cut short their own training in DeLand, cancel the participation at the Shamrock Showdown, and return to France. Agera staid a little longer to complete the training camp, and there was enough time for NSL Live Talk before the camp was over.
The complete team name was Agera FS2020... (more)
Did you know that the skydiving world celebrates Craig Girard's 40-year anniversary? posted: Mar 14th, 2021 March 14th is a meaningful day for Craig Girard every year. It was the day when he made his first skydive in 1981. The story of his early days in the sport is documented in his NSL Profile. Unfortunately, it ends after he won his 7th FAI World Championship gold medal in Maubeuge 2008.
It was only the story that ended and has not been updated. This year's anniversary on March 14th is a special one though, and it is about time to update the NSL Profile. It is Craig Girad's 40-year anniversary on the day, and 13 years have gone by since the NSL News posted his profile story in 2008.

Did you know that USPA introduces the A Class category to the national championships? posted: Mar 13th, 2021 The Saturday at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021 was a very busy day for Kirk Verner, as the NSL News reported on February 27th. He had to complete 24 rounds with four different 4-way and 8-way teams. The ten rounds with Airspeed XP8 were his most important assignment.
Steve Hubbard, USPA's Director of Competition, had an easier agenda, even though he was competing at Paraclete, as well. He had signed up with a pick-up team for the 4-way competition in the AA/Intermediate Class.
Kirk Verner and Steve Hubbard did not end up on the same leaderboard, as Kirk Verner's two 4-way teams... (more)
Did you know that SDC RhEvolution XP won with a new team indoor record average? posted: Mar 12th, 2021 The Advanced Class category at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship was officially introduced at the 2020 event. It separated the AAA Class teams the same way as it has happened for many years at USPA's national outdoor championships. Vega XP became the first national indoor champions.
All AAA Class teams were still on the same leaderboard at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2019, a year after SDC RhEvolution XP was born as a team. The 2019 event became RhEvolution's first indoor competition, after attending three outdoor meets of the Midwest Skydiving League and taking the 2nd place on... (more)
Did you know that the Intermediate Class leaderboard was the tightest one at Paraclete XP? posted: Mar 10th, 2021 The AA/Intermediate Class competition at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021 offered actually the most exciting battles for 4-way medals, as the teams on the top of the leaderboard were closer than in all other 4-way categories. On top of that, there were all kind of interesting aspects related to this year's national indoor championships.
Kyle Hermberg, organizer of the Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Dallas, was the defending AA/Intermediate Class champion of last year's indoor championship. The NSL News reported on February 15th that he would visit Paraclete XP again this year, this... (more)
Did you know that Airspeed XP8 and Golden Knights follow up with outdoor 8-way next week? posted: Mar 9th, 2021 The NSL News mentioned in yesterday's update of the Golden Knights performance at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021 that the U.S.Army's 8-way team begins to put pressure on the reigning 8-way indoor world champions, Airspeed XP8.
There was still a 35-point difference between the winner and the team in 2nd place, which is a very large margin on the top of a leaderboard at any Formation Skydiving competition. It was the progression of the Golden Knights that was the reason for the statement.
The Golden Knights are ultimately planning to challenge Airspeed XP8 at the USPA Nationals at... (more)
