News Article Did you know that Rhythm 8 members ended up in the closest Shamrock 4-way battle?
posted: Mar 29th, 2021 The small field of teams at the live part of the Shamrock Showdown 2021 at Skydive City generated more than enough exciting competition and interesting information. There was actually no area on the 4-way AAA Class leaderboard that did not have rounds and duels to follow carefully. Arizona Airspeed did not have any opposition on the top of the leaderboard, and the U.S. indoor champions competed mostly against the competition draw. However, that alone was challenging enough with the 4-way world paying all the attention to the Airspeed performance at the first outdoor competition of the world... (more)
News Article Did you know that seven Sandbaggers competed at Paraclete XP and Shamrock Showdown?
posted: Mar 27th, 2021 The 8-way competition of the Shamrock Showdown 2021 continues on the NSL Cloud, as the NSL News pointed out with a recent update. The French national 8-way team is in the middle of their online part at the skydiving center of Pamiers in the south of France. They will probably complete all meet rounds this weekend and then wait until the same judging panel gets back together online. After that, the U.S. teams will try to catch up with their missing rounds. The Shamrock Showdown outdoor competition connected with the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021 in many ways, even without any international... (more)
News Article Did you know that current and former Vega XP members met in competition at Paraclete XP?
posted: Mar 26th, 2021 The NSL News goes back to the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021, while the Shamrock Showdown Cloud option will soon add more scores and videos to the same leaderboard. The French national 8-way team has already completed the first four rounds in Pamiers, and Arizona Airspeed resume with the remainder of the 4-way competition next week. The previous high-profile indoor event at Paraclete XP included an interesting situation on the 4-way Open Class leaderboard. The NSL News has covered the progression of last year's Advanced Class champion Vega XP to the Open Class indoor leaderboard with... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Shamrock Showdown Cloud keeps the leaderboards open until April 21st?
posted: Mar 25th, 2021 The Shamrock Showdown 2021 went by without any conclusion in the Skins Game, while a winner of any Formation Skydiving competition is declared after at least one round. The teams at Skydive City completed four rounds, and Arizona Airspeed, as the winner of this year's event, remain undefeated since 2007. Only once, in 2002, an Airspeed lineup did not win the Shamrock Showdown, which was not running under the same title by then. It was the March meet of the Florida Skydiving League that was renamed to Shamrock Showdown a year later. The Shamrock Showdown had been established as an international... (more)
News Article Did you know that Skydive Midwest NEXT was challenging XPG4 at the three recent events?
posted: Mar 24th, 2021 The recent update of the Indoor Cloud League event at Paraclete XP explained how the month of February was a very busy one for the members of the Paraclete XP team delegation (AZXP8, XP4, XPG4). XPG4's Jeana Billings was actually even busier than all of her team mates. Morgan Womble and Brenn Richards were also player-coaches for the ICL event in February and then competed with XPG4 and other 8-way teams at Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021, followed by the Shamrock Showdown. However, they did not compete in 8-way at Skydive City. Michelle Karamon competed with AZXP8 at the indoor and... (more)
News Article Did you know that XPG4's Brenn Richards was a new ICL player-coach for Paraclete XP in February?
posted: Mar 23rd, 2021 The month of February was very busy for the members of the Paraclete XP team delegation. The AZXP8, XP4 and XPG4 members and the whole Paraclete staff were engaged in the preparations for the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2021, one way or another between training, coaching and logistics. Then there were only a few weeks until at least AZXP8 and XPG4 would follow up with outdoor competition at the Shamrock Showdown 2021. At the same time, XPG4 team mates Jeana Billings and Morgan Womble organized once again the Indoor Cloud League events in February and March at Paraclete XP. Both traveled... (more)
