Almost 100 people discussed the 2021 agenda using an online platform, and the deliberations continue throughout the week until the plenary will vote on any decisions on the coming weekend.

Did you know that JaNette Lefkowitz was coaching SDMW NEXT and is back in the active lineup for the 6th DIPC? posted: Jan 17th, 2021 The NSL News introduced the new lineup of Skydive Midwest NEXT in September last year. Newest member Gorka Amian had joined the lineup, after Lauren and Elliott Byrd became a part of the team's comeback at the beginning of the 2020 season.
Original member Megan George had launched the team project in 2015 when she and her husband decided to join the Midwest Skydiving League. Requirement for becoming a part of the league and hosting MWSL events at their skydiving center was a home team that participates in the MWSL meets.

Did you know that this is the FAI/ISC meeting and scheduling weekend? posted: Jan 16th, 2021 This weekend, a very challenging task is waiting for the delegates of the International Skydiving Commission (ISC) of the Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI), the world's air sports federation.
The NSL News mentioned in the update after the most recent NSL Live Talk on January 13th that David Grauwels will be back online when the annual meeting of the FAI/ISC takes place. It was supposed to take place live in Bucharest, Rumania, before the corona virus crisis changed everything, including the logistics for the meeting.

Did you know that Mikael Kaulanen is back in action for Finland's Just4Fun? posted: Jan 15th, 2021 The NSL News announced Finland joining the World Tunnel League after an update from the Finnish Indoor Nationals on 2 April 2017. The indoor comeback of Finland's national team of 1997, Chymos/Max 4/Blackjack, had inspired team member Vesa Vuorenkoski to launch the new league with regular meets at the Fööni wind tunnel in Helsinki.
Blackjack did not continue after their last meet, the World Challenge 2019 in Bedford, and some of the original members eventually came back with other teams. Vesa Vuorenkoski began training and competing with Just4Fun, who turned out to become the best Finnish... (more)

Did you know that another new league was in the works in 1998? posted: Jan 12th, 2021 Illinois shows great interest in starting up as soon as possible. Andre Wiese, operator of Chicagoland Skydiving, has already begun to get things going this year.
His drop zone has a lot of team interest - four teams from Hinckley competed at the USPA Nationals this year.
Now, Andre Wiese is looking for other skydiving centers in the area who would like to be a part of the new NSL 4-way league and share the advantages of more activities and business. As usual, the NSL will help to get the new league started.
