The two Czech 4-way junior teams, HF Flying Rebels and HF Dragonflies, were in control of the two top positions, even without their complete lineups. However, one of the three teams from Finland then split the Czech 4-team group in January and took the 3rd place on the combined leaderboard.
Sörkan Laskuvajourheijat attended the team's 4th indoor competition since the team was formed for the national indoor championship in 2019. Team member Tony Nyholm is one of the most experienced 4-way competitors in Finland and has attended several world meets with Finnish national 4-way teams. The NSL News provided an overview of his career when he joined the Pro Team in 2011 and won another national 4-way title.
His wife Sanna Pernu-Nyholm joined the indoor team after her own 4-way outdoor career and then a few meets with indoor team Tahma in 2017. Sanna and Tony Nyholm both were also at the Fööni wind tunnel in Helsinki when Vesa Vuorenkoski launched the Finnish Tunnel League with the inaugural meet in September 2018. Susanna Raulio was a Tahma member in 2017 and 2018, and Pirre Löfgren replaced Nadja Lönnroth, who now trains and competes with Blue Steel.

Sirkus and 4K were heavily engaged with these two Czech teams in the lower half of the January leaderboard. Actually, Hight Five were only a part of this battle due to a devastating 2-point score in Round 3. Mimozemky had to fend off the two teams from Finland and did so in the last two rounds. All three teams exchanged highscores throughout the whole 10-round meet, and Mimozemky created the final 3-point difference to Sirkus in Round 10.
The two Finnish teams started together in the Rookie Class competition of the national indoor championships in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Then they continued together in the A Class competition of 2018 and the first meets of the Finnish Tunnel League. 4K has always had the upper hand when both teams moved up into the AA Class for the indoor nationals last year. 4K won the first duel in this category, as well, and continued in June and September 2019. Sirkus then returned with a new lineup for the November battle on the AA Class leaderboard.
Once again, 4K finished ahead with a 5-point advantage and the same 12.0 average as in June. However, both teams were back for the first meet of the 2020 indoor season in January, and the leaderboard is showing the roller-coaster battle, which ended with the first victory for Sirkus in this Finnish 6-year duel. The 12.3 was a new AA record average for Sirkus and matched the team's highest A Class number.
