News Article Have you heard that the British A Class teams kept up well with the AA Class teams in Round 1?
posted: Jul 15th, 2018 The conclusion of last weekend's British leaderboard after the July meet of the United Kingdom Skydiving League (UKSL) comes with more details of the A Class and Rookie Class competition. The A Class competition began with an interesting round. The sequence of Round 1 (J,M,7) was the same as for the AA Class teams at Skydive Northwest in Cark. All teams in these two categories had the opportunity to compare their scores directly. The A Class teams held up very strongly, and the combined leaderboard for Round 1 is showing the A Class winner, Cloudbusters, only one point behind the best two... (more)
News Article Have you heard that the British 4-way teams have six weeks left to get ready for the nationals?
posted: Jul 12th, 2018 Only teams of the United Kingdom Skydiving League posted scores for the scheduled six rounds on last weekend's leaderboard. Skydive Northwest was the host of the third and last 2018 competition before the British 4-way teams all come together again at the national championships at the end of August. Event judge Lucy Westgarth said that it was impressive to see how efficient the dropzone was with a single aircraft operation in extreme heat. Skydive Northwest is far in the north of the United Kingdom and offers a spectacular view, while the temperatures still went up to approx 30' Celsius. Pajama... (more)
News Article Have you heard that that all nine A Class teams from the United Kingdom and Germany posted highscores last weekend?
posted: Jun 16th, 2018 The new scores of the first eight rounds at the Paraclete XP Summer Classic 2018 are on the leaderboard, while the NSL News is not done yet with last weekend's results. The previous scores were generated at the Paranodon Cup 2018 in Germany and the June meet of the United Kingdom Skydiving League (UKSL). The NSL News covered the AAA Class competition on 13 June 2018 and then followed up with the AA Class. News Article Have you heard that all six AA Class teams posted highscores last weekend?
posted: Jun 13th, 2018 Last weekend's international competition was much closer in the AA Class, compared to the AAA leaderboard, where 34 points separated the teams in 1st (Pink Illertissen) and 10th place (Vantage). British teams Pajama Pumas and Vantage had made the same steps from AA to AAA this year after spending the whole 2017 season together, meet after meet at the United Kingdom Skydiving League events and the national championships. posted: Jun 11th, 2018 The United Kingdom Skydiving League (UKSL) held its second outdoor meet of the year last weekend. The first one in May in Dunkeswell had attracted 19 teams, including the national team in 4-way Women, NFTO. The UKSL was launched as a part of the European Skydiving League, which joined forces with the National Skydiving League with draw and rules synchronization in 2003. The first UKSL meets were held in 2004, and Optic became the first team to compete for the British delegation at the ESL Championship 2004. News Article Have you heard that Pajama Pumas and Vantage completed their first outdoor competition in the AAA Class?
posted: May 12th, 2018 Five British teams followed up on the World Challenge 2018 with the first outdoor competition of the United Kingdom Skydiving League this year, which took place at Skydive99 in Dunkeswell last weekend. Six rounds are scheduled at the UKSL meets, and the first outdoor meet brought 12 blocks, with three of the six slot-switchers, to the three AAA Class teams. The British national team in 4-way Women, NFTO, used the first outdoor competition on British home turf for competition practice, while the meet was the first AAA Class competition with exits from jump planes for Pajama Pumas and Vantage.
