Did you know that three national female teams of 2009 compete at the Shamrock Showdown 2010? posted: Mar 6th, 2010 The FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010 will also offer a quite interesting competition in the female 4-way category. The first direct confrontation between the French national team Aerokart Deep Blue and the US team Spaceland Blue is already one of the highlights of the competition in DeLand. There is even a third national female team of the 2009 season that will compete in the AAA Class field.
Kaizen represented the United Kingdom officially as the national team at the World Cup 2009 and finished in 4th place with a 12.6 average. It was the first international outdoor experience for the young team.

Did you know that Shamrock scores have been a good indicator of the new season? posted: Mar 2nd, 2010 The NSL News coverage of the Valentine's Meet 2010 is almost complete. Only the meet videos of the Dutch/Belgian 4XTT combination still need to be processed and uploaded.
Then it'a about time to get ready for the next high-profile competition after the Dubai Championship. The FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010 is coming up soon, and it will once again bring together some of the best teams in the world in DeLand.

Did you know that Carolina Turbo XP has the first AAA test at the Shamrock Showdown? posted: Feb 27th, 2010 The NSL News reported on 9 February 2010 that Carolina Turbo XP, formerly known as VTSD, continues and moves up into the AAA Class competition this year.
The short and very impressive 4-way career of Doug Barron (Outside Center), Joey Coffineau (Inside Center), Andrew Happick (Point), Ben Worrall (Tail) and James Sides on camera included gold medals at the USPA Nationals 2009 in the AA/Intermediate Class and at the Collegiate Championships 2009 for Virginia Tech in the A Class.
The same lineup will now take on the AAA Class dive pool, and the first serious test is coming up soon.

Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP competes at the Shamrock Showdown and the World Challenge? posted: Feb 2nd, 2010 The NSL News' last segment of the Becca's Bootie Boogie coverage features a live update of the SDC Rhythm XP activities. Rob Radez, JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz accepted the invitation of the NSL News for a quick NSL Talk session at a break between the jumps.
It turned out to be another NSL Talk with a Rhythm 3-way, as new member Thiago Muradas was not present. His team mates said that he was working hard to be ready for training hard very soon. The Rhythm training of 2010 with the new lineup is actually already in full swing.

Did you know that Becca talked about her belly flying motivation? posted: Jan 28th, 2010 The NSL News goes once again back to Becca's Bootie Boogie. There is still video footage that needs to be looked at. The clip in this story includes videos of several jumps on the belly flying weekend at Skydive Sebastian. The previous stories of the same event included videos of live NSL Talk with Thomas Hughes and new 4-way team DeLand Dunamis.
Thomas Hughes was load organizing at Becca's Bootie Boogie. This video includes two jumps with him on Saturday, first a sunset 8-way and then a 12-way.

Did you know that the Speedy Kids will compete at the Shamrock Showdown 2010? posted: Jan 27th, 2010 Nick Grillet was one of the candidates for SDC Rhythm XP's tail slot at the tryout event that the NSL News covered extensively in December 2009. He did not join Rhythm, as Thiago Muradas was selected for the slot.
It did not take long though until the NSL News followed up with a story that introduced a new west coast team in Elsinore, the Speedy Kids. Nick Grillet had already found his new team for the 2010 season, as he will now be the Tail for Speedy Kids.
