Did you know that DeLand Majik member Joey Jones visited the NSL office for an interview? posted: May 18th, 2004 NSL News: Joey, Majik scored a 25.5 average this weekend, was there room for more? Joey Jones: There is always room for more; we left a few points on the table scraps. NSL News: We all know that it was only a fast 6-round draw. Did you finish the draw later? Joey Jones: No, we trained on Sunday on some exits that we needed to polish up. We have been working on second-point block break times. After the meet and the jumps on Sunday, four of our jumps were personal best times. We were happy to come from a great meet and still have enough focus to put up personal best times in training the next day.... (more)
Did you know that the new round of NSL-TV features round eight of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004? posted: May 18th, 2004 The new round of NSL-TV features once again teams competing at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004. The coverage includes DeLand Majik and Italy's Sinapsi PD. Yesterday, the NSL audience was offered the opportunity to compare France Maubeuge and the U.S. national team indirectly with each other while doing their random work. The ten rounds of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004 had DeLand Majik and Sinapsi PD competing on site directly with each other. Did you know that you can now directly compare DeLand Majik's 41 and France Maubeuge's 42? posted: May 17th, 2004 DeLand Majik seems to be well prepared for the first showdown with the French 4-way world champion from Maubeuge at the IPC Anton Malevsky Memorial World Cup 2004. The competition draw for last weekend's events at several locations in the USA and Europe, provided by the Dutch Handicap Cup, was surely on the faster side. Majik's 25.5 meet average was also posted after six rounds, and the remaining four rounds would have lowered this average. However, fact is that the U.S. national team did not even have any round where the score was lower than 20 points. (more)
Did you know that DeLand Majik and Italy Kewara posted record scores in DeLand? posted: May 16th, 2004 Leage managers and webmasters worked very quickly last weekend. Many of the scores were available for the 4-way fans much earlier compared to last year. The results of the competition at Skydive DeLand were posted after each round on Saturday. The German and Texas Skydiving League scores were already posted on their websites on Sunday. The EuropeanSkydiving Leaguewebsite had additional scores from Spain. The large scoring table below is the result of these great efforts. Did you know that new NSL-TV show features round five of the FSL Shamrock Showdown? posted: Apr 26th, 2004 The new NSL-TV show features five AAA Class teams that competed at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004. Round five was an action packed sequence with two Random Formations and two of the faster blocks (J-C-16-1). All AAA Class teams used this opportunity to show off technical skills, energy and speed. It was the most dominating round for DeLand Majik with a performance near to perfection, which coincided with a flawed jump for the closest rival, Italy's Sinapsi PD.
