Sydney Owen Williams is in charge of events and marketing at Skydive Elsinore and has the Tail slot for Elsinore Horizon. Have you heard that skydive Suffolk is back hosting meets for the Virginia Parachute Council? posted: Aug 5th, 2013 It was in August 2006 when the Virginia Parachute Council held a 4way competition the last time at Skydive Suffolk. DC3 (Christine Bruchac, Christi Meyer, Chris Halsa, Dave Owens, with Tres Waugh on camera) competed with a local lineup that consisted of Jim Burley, John Carlson, Eddie Heady, Mary Miller and Pete Schwartz on camera.
VPC Director Elizabeth Kang now reported that her 4way competitors met again at the same place on the July 27 weekend - seven years later. It was a new duel, this time between Safety Third and the Sky Godlings. Only one competitor attended both meets in 2006 and 2013.

Have you heard that two teams braved heat and humidity in Virginia? posted: Jul 10th, 2013 The Virginia Parachute Council held the first competition of the 2013 season at Skydive Orange, with two home teams attending the meet. VPC Director Elizabeth Kang reported that an additional team from Skydive Suffolk had to cancel at the last minute when a team member could not make the trip to Orange.
Moulin Orange is an Orange based group of girls who are trying to practice 4way on a semi-regular basis. The usual team members are Erin Kruth, the the most experienced 4way competitor in the team, plus Lucie Low, Abby Fistler and Mel Bostwick who have 100 or less jumps each.

Have you heard that the Virginia Parachute Council concluded the 2012 season successfully? posted: Oct 20th, 2012 The Virginia Parachute Council added the latest scores of the 2012 season to the 115 different leaderboards in the NSL database this year. It is the first time for the NSL News that there are more than 100 different scoreboards with results from many different parts of the world.
Skydive Orange hosted the third and last VPC meet of the year with four participating teams in the AA Class. VPC Director Elizabeth Kang reported that Skydive Suffolk and the Virginia Skydiving Center each sent a team to Skydive Orange to compete with the two home teams. Have you heard that the Virginia Parachute Council is back in 4way action? posted: Aug 1st, 2012 The scores from the Virginia Parachute Council completed last weekend's AA Class overall leaderboard, which was the most popular category this time.
The AA Class teams competed at three different locations (Germany, Texas, Virginia) and also completed different numbers of rounds. The overall leaderboard in the AA Class needs a similar adjustment as it was necessary in the AAA Class where the Usual Suspects ended up on the top after six rounds.
Paradox Kassel had the highest meet average after ten rounds but did not have to step back. The German team was also the leader and winner after six... (more)
Have you heard that the Virginia Parachute Councul concluded the 2010 season with record participation? posted: Dec 5th, 2010 There were other additional scores, which came from a meet that was held on November 14, the weekend before the NSL Championship 2010.
The Virginia Parachute Council finished the 2010 season with another event of the league's 4-way mentorship program at Skydive The Point.
There were no other meets on the same weekend, as the 2010 season was over for all other leagues, and VPC Director John Meyer decided to use the competition draw of an earlier meet this year.
It was the Rookie Class draw of the September 18 meet weekend that the VPC 4-way lineups took on two months later.
