posted: Feb 24th, 2012 Arizona Airspeed's Thomas Hughes discussed the results of the 3rd Dubai Championship 2011 with the NSL News in a live interview on 5 December 2011. He said that his team was just beginning with the first training camp after the USPA Nationals 2011 and that the competition draw of the 3rd Dubai Championship would surely be a part of the upcoming Airspeed training. Thomas Hughes was impressed with the performance of Aerodyne Aerokart from France and NMP-PCH Hayabusa from Belgium, and there was a good reason. News Article Did you know that Airspeed opened a new 4way chapter with only 23-pointers or higher?
posted: Feb 13th, 2012 Arizona Airspeed seems to be in great shape and ready for the battle with Aerodyne Aerokart and NMP-PCH Hayabusa at the Shamrock Showdown 2012. The US national 4way team delivered a convincing performance at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2012 and now followed up with great outdoor scores at the Valentine's Meet 2012. In fact, Airspeed opened another chapter of 4way competition with last weekend's scores on home turf at Skydive Arizona in Eloy. The 26.0 average was the highest result at an outdoor competition where the draw did not include a Super Sequence of only Random Formations.... (more)
News Article Did you know that Nick Grillet and Samer Haija had a special kind of reunion at the Valentine's Meet 2011?
posted: May 27th, 2011 Yesterday's NSL News update from Brazil included a revisit of the Valentine's Meet 2011 and brought back to attention an interesting situation at the same event. The colorful Teiwaz West lineup had Samer Haija and Nick Grillet join forces for some 4-way fun. Nick Grillet is usually in the Tail slot, and Samer Haija has mostly been the Center Inside in his career. Both had been a part of the NSL News coverage when SDC Rhythm XP had a tryout event for the open Tail slot in December 2009. posted: May 19th, 2011 Player coaching projects, teams for a day, for a weekend or for a season, scrambles and other 4-way activities have become increasingly popular in the past years. Many experienced and passionate 4-way teams and competitors are open to forward their knowledge to other skydivers and try to generate more and new teams and 4-way fans. Those kind of projects happen all over the USA regions and in several other countries, as well. posted: Mar 5th, 2011 Last not least, NSL-TV presents the videos of the A Class competition at the Valentine's Meet 2011. The NSL News had introduced two of the three teams in this category with the story on 4 February 2011, which covered Eloy's Project Home Team. Arizona Frenzy members Jocelyn Bernatchez and Ian Mackenzie launched this project to create more local and regional 4-way activities in Eloy, where the USPA Nationals 2011 will take place this year. News Article Did you know that Cold Fusion posted a record score with Annie Peterson?
posted: Mar 1st, 2011 The NSL News covered the AA/Intermediate Class competition at the Valentine's Meet 2011 with the first story on 24 February 2011. The Project Home Team lineups of Eloy Firestorm and Code 99 had gone neck to neck for six rounds and were tied in 3rd place. The two other AA Class teams, Fenix from Brazil and Cold Fusion, both ended up with a 7.8 average and far ahead of the bronze medal position. However, the meet average was only exactly the same since Fenix completed ten rounds. The team's average was 8.3 after the official six rounds of the Valentine's Meet.
