Did you know that the promised videos feature Rounds 5 and 6 and Airspeed with a new NSL Talk? posted: Feb 12th, 2011 The official part of the Valentine's Meet 2011 is over. It's a 6-round meet usually, and the teams received their medals and gifts in all competition classes at the end of the day.
However, the AAA Class teams have already completed eight rounds, and two more are on the agenda tomorrow morning. The judges have not looked at Rounds 7 and 8 yet, and the NSL News had time to catch up with Arizona Airspeed's and France Aerodyne Maubeuge's videos of Rounds 5 and 6.

Did you know that Airspeed is aiming at a new performance level? posted: Feb 12th, 2011 It is a 25.6 average after Round 5, and Arizona Airspeed's average will only go up in Round 6. It is not really a battle with Aerodyne Maubeuge any longer, the new Airspeed lineup is aiming at a new and unknown performance level.
The reigning 4-way world champions are not having the best competition in their career, as it is quite obvious. However, even the world champion lineup of 2010 may have been in trouble this time.
French coach Marin Ferre will remain the only person in Eloy who ever beat Airspeed on their home turf. He has a lot of work ahead to get the French national team ready... (more)
Did you know that Airspeed won Round 2 by four points? posted: Feb 12th, 2011 France Aerodyne Maubeuge probably surprised the audience and Arizona Airspeed by winning the meet opener of the Valentine's Meet 2011.
However, it did not take long until Airspeed struck back. A sub-terminal collision and missing a completion of a Block 6 came along with a point deduction for France in Round 2, and Airspeed won four points in Round 2.
The scores of Round 3 are posted, and Airspeed added another point to the lead.

Did you know that only French coach Marin Ferre has ever won on Airspeed's home turf? posted: Feb 11th, 2011 The team registration is complete at the Valentine's Meet 2011, and the competition draw has been handed out to the teams on site.
What a difference it is compared to the Valentine's Meet last year. The lowest participation in the history of the event sparked new efforts to bring the Valentine's Meet and the Arizona Skydiving League back to new life, and this year's results are impressive.

Did you know that teams in Eloy get ready for the Valentine's Meet? posted: Feb 11th, 2011 The transition of the NSL News to Skydive Arizona was successful, and the first update from Eloy includes a colorful mixture of activities at the competition site of the Valentine's Meet 2011.
Arizona Airspeed is back on home turf after the visit in North Carolina for the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships 2011. Airspeed is ready for the first showdown with the new French national team, Aerodyne France Maubeuge after four training jumps on Friday afternoon.

The NSL News is on the way to Raeford where Airspeed's new lineup will attend the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships 2011, while other US top teams will challenge Airspeed's top position of the past years.
