posted: Apr 24th, 2008 Two teams from the Netherlands, Turbulence and Orange Blue, competed last weekend at the April meet of the Florida Skydiving League and continued with visits of Dutch teams in DeLand this year. The director of the Dutch Skydiving League, Center Inside Marloes Swarthoff, left DeLand with her own team, Pulse, just a little bit too early for the meet. In fact, Team Pulse consists of the complete league management, not only of the Dutch Skydiving League. Gerhard Schut, Center Outside for Pulse, is the webmaster of the league's sophisticated website and is also creating the new website for the ESL... (more)

posted: Apr 23rd, 2008 The NSL News continues with the same topics of the last two days and adds some. The Airspeed Odyssey Bloopers were well received and entertained the audience, thanks to Andy Delk. In fact, it was obviously so inspiring that Bodyflight Storm's videographer Gary Wainwright was encouraged by his team to create a similar clip. The funnels are very similar to Airspeed's and can be viewed by clicking here. The next topic is a more serious one and goes back once again to the World Challenge 2008. posted: Apr 22nd, 2008 The NSL News goes back to the World Challenge 2008 and still connects to yesterday's story at the same time. Airspeed Odyssey's Rounds 8 and 9 of the windtunnel competition have been uploaded, and XL's Round 8, as well. The situation before Round 8 was just as exciting as the whole race between these two world-class teams at Bodyflight Bedford. XL was the 2-point leader after the five rounds of the first day. Airspeed Odyssey came back with full power on Sunday morning, won Round 6 by three points and had a 1-point lead. It looked like a done deal when Airspeed extended the lead to three... (more)

The national teams of Denmark (Danish Blaze), Canada (Evolution), Norway (Arcteryx) and the US female lineup (Fastrax Blue) had planned for a 10-round competition, and a few other teams continued with the meet on Sunday, either to complete the six rounds or go for all ten rounds. posted: Apr 18th, 2008 More information and the first meet videos have arrived from Elsinore where the Southern California Skydiving League launched its 2008 season last weekend. The NSL News story on 15 April 2008 mentioned that UK's national 4-way team in IPC's female category, Bodyflight Storm, competed from the left-hand door of the Twinotter, even though the team trains for a right-hand pattern from the Pilatus Porter this year.
