Did you know that there might be an 8-way battle of talent versus experience? posted: Aug 6th, 2008 The 8-way poll of the expected medal winners at the World Meet 2008 offer the first real surprise. The French national team is still in 1st place. However, Italy's 8-way team Ex3mo has taken the 2nd place and is currently ahead of Team USA 8.
The US team members don't even think of a competition with Ex3mo. The only position that is of interest for the US competition veterans is the one on the very top of the leaderboard. (more)

The NSL News audience indicates that the race for the silver medals might take place between Hayabusa Defence and France Maubeuge. The Belgian team has even passed the French national team at the moment. The Russian Sky Panthers would end up once again in 4th place. (more)
Did you know that two medalists of 2006 will defend their honors in the Women's Class? posted: Aug 4th, 2008 Comparing the lineups of the medal winners and top contenders at the World Meet 2006 in Germany and 2008 in France in the 4-way Open Class showed already that a few teams try again with the same or a very similar lineup this year (Russia, Belgium, Norway, Canada).
It is also a fact that all medal winners of 2006 are not competing again, at least not in the same category. There is not even one 4-way Open Class competitor who is defending a 2006 medal.
