Did you know that NPSL teams needed a tie-breaker for the 2007 championship? posted: Sep 5th, 2007 New scores from the Northern Plains Skydiving League have replaced the results of the Italian Nationals 2007 on the frontpage. It will only be a few more days until new scores from the ESL Championship 2007 will override the NPSL results. The USPA Nationals 2007 will then be next beginning on Saturday.
Sandy Grillet, NPSL Director, was facing a very unusual situation at the last meet of his 2007 season and called at the NSL headquarters when the meet was just concluded.

Did you know that a very exciting meet weekend is coming up? posted: Sep 4th, 2007 The June 2 meet weekend was the busiest one this year so far. The total of 74 teams on the leaderboard was a new record for the NSL News. However, the upcoming weekend will most likely beat all previous records and once again bring scores and news from several different events.
The combination of the USPA Nationals 2007 and the ESL Championship 2007 alone will offer so much information that the valued NSL audience better prepares to spend a lot of time on-line this weekend.
The scores will not be listed on the same leaderboard since both major events will apply separate competition draws.... (more)
Did you know that the Italian Nationals 2007 produced only one national team so far? posted: Sep 3rd, 2007 The newest scores on the current NSL leaderboard have come from Italy. Sara Sacchet, Italian FAI judge, provided the NSL News once again with meet information. She had already updated the NSL News audience on June 12 when the Italian teams competed at a regional meet in Fano, Italy.
This time, Italy's national championship 2007 was on the meet agenda and was completed on Saturday, September 1. The event was held in Cumiana, a skydiving center near Turin. (more)
Did you know that KnightTrax plans to be competitive in 8-way? posted: Aug 31st, 2007 The first NSL News story that covered the British Nationals 2007 on August 21 mentioned that there was a mysterious team in first place after three rounds:
"Then a new surprise waited for the local and worldwide audience. The ghost team FlightSchool posted a 28-pointer for the first round and shocked the AAA Class field."
It was rather a guest team, not a ghost team, and the NSL News learned soon who was in the line-up: "The FlightSchool line-up even consisted of three British competitors, all former XL members (John McIver, Steve Hamilton, Thomas Hughes) and Niklas Hemlin."

Did you know that Hayabusa's rounds five and six are now on NSL-TV? posted: Aug 29th, 2007 The videos of Hayabusa Defence's rounds five and six at the FAI World Cup 2007 have now been uploaded and can be viewed on NSL-TV.
Both rounds had their impact on the meet situation in Russia. France, Russia and Belgium were tied in first place after Round 4. Hayabusa Defence had caught up after a bad meet opener and kept up with the other two world-class teams from then on. (more)
