Chris Farina (Inside Center), Christy Frikken (Outside Center), Josh Hall (Point) and Uli Steuwe (Tail) have a season average of 22.1 in the books after these four meets.
The 24.7 average at the July meet of the California Skydiving League was the peak of the 2007 season. The 33-pointer in Round 5 of the same meet is the highest Fury score for a single round. Did you know that three AAA/Advanced Class generations competed together this year? posted: Oct 3rd, 2007 The scores of the winning teams in USPA's Advanced Class have been going up ever since this competition class was introduced at the USPA Nationals 1999 in Sebastian. Team Frost (Niklas Gummeson, Carlos Curtis, Sally Hathaway and Robert Healy, with Tony Hathaway on camera) won the first USPA gold medals in 1999 with a 13.6 average. Perris Aftermath (Michael Anderson, William Morrison, Piya Nava and Steve Saloman, with Donald Simonds on camera) won this year with a 15.8 average.
The 10-round average posted by Perris Aftermath in September was the highest average for any winning team in this competition... (more)
Did you know that the best "amateur teams" did well at the USPA Nationals 2007? posted: Oct 2nd, 2007 The NSL News covered mostly the teams on the top of the leaderboard throughout the live coverage at the USPA Nationals 2007.
Perris Fury in 4th place received attention before and during the competition, and Mass Defiance presented the sequence of Round 5 for the NSL-TV audience on September 8.
The position of the team from the New England Skydiving League split the leaderboard between the "full-time teams" and the "weekend amateurs" beginning in 5th place. Did you know that Florida's AA Class teams continue with their race? posted: Sep 29th, 2007 The weekend of the USPA Nationals 2007 had all three AA/Intermediate Class teams of the Florida Skydiving League competing at the same time and with the same competition draw. However, one of the teams, FSC Wind Damaged, did not travel to Illinois and completed the ten rounds at Skydive DeLand, together with two other FSL teams, ZT Mal4mations and Miami Vice.

Did you know that Airspeed Odyssey's winning Round 6 is now on NSL-TV? posted: Sep 28th, 2007 Thomas Hughes mentioned in the interview with the NSL News on September 26 that Airspeed Odyssey had the best jump in Round 6. Odyssey wrapped up the meet with the 24-pointer, which alone won three points over Team Fastrax Red and the Golden Knights. NSL-TV had not uploaded the Odyssey video of Round 6 so far, and it was about time to look at it after the interview. (more)
