News Article Did you know that wind tunnels and synchronized competitions build new world class teams in the UK?
posted: Jul 26th, 2006 Last weekend's international competition also included the 3rd event of the 4-way Grand Prix 2006 in Great Britain and the 3rd event of the 4-way league in the Czech Republic. The scores have already been posted for a while, and two British teams have also provided meet videos. Wingnutz, last weekend's overall winner of the international A Class competition, features the team's 10-pointer in round six of the meet in Great Britain. The 10-pointer for the A Class sequence (21-Q) was the highest score in this round. Wingnutz finished the 6-round competition with a 10.2 meet average. (more)
News Article Did you know that Southwest Skydiving League teams posted record averages last weekend in Elsinore?
posted: Jul 26th, 2006 With an unbearable heat wave hitting Southern California, six teams still toughed it out for the latest competition of the Southwest Skydiving League, held at Skydive Elsinore on July 22nd. Starting with the AAA Class, the women's world meet team, USA Elsinore Select, posted a team-best average of 15.0 over six rounds. Select, with Tammi Rettig at Outside Center, Brianne Thompson at Inside Center, Kris Byrne at Point, Michelle Carlstrom at the Tail, and Rick Schindler shooting video, is ready to represent and step it up in Germany next month. News Article Did you know that two German teams took the top of the leaderboard on July 15?
posted: Jul 24th, 2006 The scoring updates of the NSL News have to go back in time by one week to cover last weekend's competition of the Deutsche Sky Liga (DSL) in Germany. Two DSL competitions were held simultaneously, and additional teams participated at the events in Kassel and Leutkirch. The competitions were actually part of the meet weekend on July 22 - 23. However, the scores are posted on the leaderboard for the July 15 - 16 weekend. The reason for the step back in time is the fact that the teams in Germany used the competition draw of the July 15 - 16 event by accident. (more)
News Article Did you know that a new AA/Intermediate Class leader comes with the Northwest Skydiving League scores?
posted: Jul 23rd, 2006 The scores of the Northwest Skydiving League's first meet of the 2006 season have now been added to last weekend's leaderboard and have changed the picture of the AA/Intermediate Class competition. The top position of the AA Class Rankings has finally changed, Elsinore Vengeance had a powerful comeback on July 15. The NWSL team with Lisa Albrecht (Point), Deb Correia (Inside Center), Dave Correia (Tail), Jeff Smith (Outside Center) and Luke Nevin (Camera) competed in the same competition class last year (9.3 - 10.3 - 10.3 - 10.3) and finished in 7th position in the NSL AA Class Rankings and... News Article Did you know that The DaneZ finally scored a new official national record?
posted: Jul 21st, 2006 The competition draw for this weekend has just popped up on the front page, and the first scores are already posted. The reason for this surprise is the fact that Denmark completed its national championship event already during the week. The Danish meet organizers were motivated to be a part of the NSL/ESL meet weekend anyway and has asked the NSL/ESL management to use the same competition draw. ESL and NSL agreed with the plan to hold back the draw and the scores until Friday, even though the meet in Denmark was already completed. News Article Did you know that Ukraine's team Alfa-Fox completed the field for the World Meet 2006?
posted: Jul 20th, 2006 The registration for the World Meet 2006 is complete, and the field of participating teams has slightly changed since the last update on May 30. The national team from Kazakhstan has joined the 4-way competition in the Open Class. The 4-way team from the former Soviet republic already competed at the Malevsky Cup 2005 and now visits Germany for the world meet. The additional registered team strengthens the upswing that the chart of participation in the 4-way Open Class event at world meets already indicated before Kazakhstan was added to the line-up of teams.
