Did you know that Black Cat has a chance to improve the team's own world record? posted: Jul 4th, 2007 Tuesday was a challenging day at the Malevsky Cup 2007 in Stupino, Russia. The teams and competitors on site had to deal with a weather situation that did not allow much training the day before the competition. The NSL News had technical problems with the setup for NSL-TV.
The weather got better in the late afternoon, and the 4-way teams and accuracy competitors had the chance to get familiar with the meet environment. Did you know that NSL-TV features the new Dutch A Class record of 23 points? posted: Jul 3rd, 2007 Yes, the NSL News is still alive, and the Malevsky Cup 2007 is coming up next. The transition of the NSL News office from Florida to Stupino in Russia took a little bit longer than expected and has still not been completed yet. However, updates are ready, and the live coverage from Russia will begin tomorrow.
The NSL News goes back to the meet weekend on June 23 for now. NSL-TV features A Class team Whooops from the Netherlands with the 23-pointer in Round 8. The sequence of three Random Formations (N-A-F) offered the opportunity for the A Class teams to improve the meet average, and Whooops... (more)
Did you know that Team Aeon's teenager Point Ellie McCoy keeps up with the top teams? posted: Jun 27th, 2007 The NSL News story on May 1 introduced team Prodigy to the NSL News audience with an amazing story. Team Prodigy had a very special lineup, it consisted of five young girls who spent their time after school with a new and different hobby than most other adolescents. They formed a 4-way team in Colorado and trained in the wind tunnel.
The May 1 story ended with the fact that the team discontinued with this lineup. However, one member, Ellie McCoy, continued with 4-way training and formed a new a tunnel team with Gary and Emma Beyer and Paul Gatling. The NSL News promised to follow up with more... (more)
Did you know that the weather did not hold back the teams in the Netherlands? posted: Jun 25th, 2007 The weather conditions in the Netherlands and the Midwest turned out with very different results. MWSL Director Alan Butt had to cancel the event when the Sunday weather did not bring any improvements. The seven teams that waited for jumping conditions at the Chicagoland Skydiving Center will have to wait until the next MWSL meet on July 21.

Did you know that the Dutch Tomscat Trophy 2007 has a new record participation? posted: Jun 23rd, 2007 Two NSL News stories on May 11 and May 24 provided updates from the Netherlands and a preview of the first meet of the 2007 season, the Tomscat Trophy 2007.
This weekend it was time for the showdown of the Dutch teams in Hoogeveen. It was the 13th time that the Tomscat Trophy was held, and it seems as if it will be the 13th time that Paul Hofstee will win the first place at the same event. His new team, Dynamic Force, dominates the field of eight AAA Class teams after four rounds. (more)
Did you know that Round 1 of the World Challenge 2007 is now on NSL-TV? posted: Jun 22nd, 2007 Bodyflight Bedford and CamScore, the new judging and DZ-TV program that was used very successfully at the World Challenge 2007, are now bringing some of the original videos of the competition to the audience via NSL-TV.
The NSL News story on May 26 had already introduced the World Challenge 2007 DVD, which can still be purchased in Bodyflight Bedford's online store.
The features and the quality of the footage on the DVD is naturally much better than the video files that have now been uploaded for NSL-TV. However, the quality of the NSL-TV videos is still good enough to provide an impression... (more)
