posted: Feb 22nd, 2007 Craig Girard is one of the busiest competitors and coaches. He travels all over the world and just came back from a trip to Australia before his new Airspeed Odyssey line-up competed at the Valentine's Meet last weekend. He leaves at the end of this week for a trip to Marocco. The NSL News was very interested in feedback and information directly from the Airspeed headquarters in Eloy, Arizona. Craig Girard promised to take the time for a live interview this week, and he connected with the NSL News by telephone on Wednesday late afternoon, after a 12-jump training day with his team. (more)

Did you know that the new version of the NSL Discussion Forum is stronger and better?
posted: Feb 20th, 2007 Craig Sellars was a member of the Georgia Skydiving League team GT Inviscid. He was a computer expert and webmaster when he trained and competed with the GSL team in 2002/2003/2004. He was also very interested in the development of the NSL website and had offered his help several times. It was almost exactly four years ago when the NSL website added the NSL Discussion Forum to the usual features. Did you know that the top teams opened the 2007 season with new record scores?
posted: Feb 19th, 2007 Tim Wagner, Omniskore's former webmaster, had a comeback last weekend. He was the Chief Judge at the Valentine's Meet 2007, and he also described himself as the "humble assistant to Jan Meyer", who is now in charge for Omniskore's hardware and software support. T2 commented that the participation at the Valentine's Meet "isn't very high this year". The NSL News became interested in the general progression of each year's season opener and evaluated the numbers of teams since 1998. posted: Feb 15th, 2007 The first 4-way competition of the 2007 season will put the NSL News services to the first serious test this year. The Valentine's Meet 2007 kicks off the new season this weekend, and feedback from Arizona indicates that it will be an exciting competition at Skydive Arizona in Eloy. The three local teams, Airspeed Odyssey, AZ Directe and AZ Divewerkz, have been working on their team and coaching projects and expect new line-ups to join the 4-way community this year. Did you know that the Perris Fury DVD is the newest version of visual 4-way coaching?
posted: Feb 14th, 2007 The NSL News story on January 25 announced the separation of California and Arizona, the states that combined for the former Southwest Skydiving League. Skydive Elsinore and Perris Valley Skydiving worked out the California Skydiving League schedule for 2007, which has already been posted for a while. Arizona has now followed up and assigned AZ Divewerkz member Annie Peterson as the official director of the Arizona Skydiving League. Did you know that Canada's team Evolution re-connects with the NSL network this year?
posted: Feb 12th, 2007 It was the NSL 2002 season when teams from Canada joined the network of the National Skydiving League for the first time. Judging veteran Al Altendorfer and 4-way fan Jennifer VanRysdam launched the CanAm Skydiving League with its first meet on July 20, 2002. The Canadian national 4-way by then, Stratosfear, and three other Canadian teams competed at this first CanAm competition. Two more meets in August and September 2002 completed the first CanAm season. Frontier Skydivers and Skydive Burnaby hosted the three 4-way meets in the area of the US/Canadian border south of Toronto and close to the... (more)
