posted: Jun 12th, 2006 The first scores of this weekend's competition in the United Kingdom were already posted yesterday, and Perris AirKix, UK's national team in the female category, was leading the AAA/Open Class field after three rounds with a 16.3 average. It must have been difficult for the UK teams to focus on the competition, while England's soccer team played its first game of the World Cup Soccer on Saturday. Soccer is very popular in the United Kingdom, and England's team is expected to play a serious role in the race for the championship. England beat Paraguy 1 - 0 in Saturday's game. Did you know that two Swedish teams compete for one ticket to Germany?
posted: Jun 9th, 2006 The NSL News mentioned during the meet report from Denmark on June 8 that the Scandinavian neighbour country Sweden will be covered next. Another NSL News story on May 17 had already included the great news that Sweden will join the international league network together with France for the 2006 season. The first competition of the Coupe de France 2006 was already covered in length with the NSL News story on June 7 and included impressive scores by the French national 4-way team in the female category and the French 8-way team. Did you know that round two of the SSL May meet is now on NSL-TV?
posted: Jun 8th, 2006 A new round of NSL-TV has been uploaded and features the second round of the Southwest Skydiving League May meet. The Florida Skydiving League competed on the same weekend and has already its third round on NSL-TV. The FSL takes a short break until the SSL teams have caught up. The AAA/Open Class sequence of round three (M-16-1) is presented by Elsinore Gravity. Lou Ascione (Inside Center), Melanie Curtis (Point), John Hamilton (Outside Center), Steven Simar (Tail) and Pat Newman (Video) posted once again the highscore for this round with 19 points. (more)

Did you know that the Danish 4-way project shows progress?
posted: Jun 8th, 2006 Two Scandinavian countries launched their 2006 season on May 27 (Denmark) and June 3 (Sweden). The NSL News story on May 27 briefly reported what happened in Belgium and Denmark on the May 27 weekend. Mikael Toft, DaneZ member, provided additional information after the conclusion of the 8-round competition. The NSL News will follow up with the meet story from Sweden. The weather allowed only two rounds on the first day of meet in Denmark, which were completed within three hours before sunset. Did you know that Block 21 can be dangerous?
posted: Jun 7th, 2006 Doug Park, reigning DeLand Majik 4-way world champion and new Center Outside for Team Fastrax, has recently become the new owner of SkySystems USA, Inc. The company manufactures helmets, such as the popular Oxygn and Factory Diver, and also other skydiving accessories. Of course, he and his team members use helmets built by SkySystems, and his company is also one of the official Fastrax sponsors. However, even the best helmets don't seem to be able to absorb a hard hit by a knee or an ellbow targeted at the visor and what hides behind it. (more)

Did you know that the French national teams sent back strong messages last weekend?
posted: Jun 7th, 2006 The NSL News story on May 3rd announced that France would join the 4-way league network for the 2006 season. Gillian Winter, French IPC Delegate and President of the French Sporting Commission, followed through, and the scores of the first event last weekend are posted. France had impressive participation at the first of three "Coupe de France" events. Only the scores of the teams competing in the AAA/Open Class are posted since the dive pool of the second French competition class is not synchronized yet with the National Skydiving League and the European Skydiving League. 15 teams competed...
