posted: Feb 11th, 2006 The 2006 season opener of 4-way competition is only one week away. The Valentine's Meet at Skydive Arizona has been the first competition of the new season for many years, even before the Southwest Skydiving League was founded. However, in the last years, SSL management and Skydive Arizona have worked together, and the competition in Eloy has become a part of the SSL schedule every year. The Valentine's Meet has always consisted of 4-way and 8-way competition. The event begins with six rounds of 4-way on Saturday, the 8-way competition follows on Sunday. News Article Did you know that the Ranch Skydiving League prepares its comeback in 2006?
posted: Feb 10th, 2006 The NSL News story on January 19 reported that the New England Skydiving League plans a comeback for the 2006 season, directed by Beth Murray and supported by team Mass Defiance. It was a coincidence that Christine Kelley of the Blue Sky Ranch contacted the NSL headquarters almost at exactly the same time and laid out plans to re-activate the Ranch Skydiving League. News Article Did you know that Team America finished the NSL Championship 2005 with a statement?
posted: Feb 9th, 2006 The videos of round ten at the NSL Championship 2005 complete the NSL-TV coverage of this event. All the 4-way competition jumps that were made at SkyQuest in November last year can now be viewed on the NSL page of the SkyQuest website by clicking on the score of the jump. (more)

posted: Feb 8th, 2006 The NSL News story on January 3 updated the NSL News audience on the eligibility status of new Airspeed 8-way member Thomas Hughes. One week later, the next NSL News story on January 9 followed up with the official language of the revised rule, provided by Italy's IPC Delegate Sara Sacchet. The only missing piece for Thomas Hughes was the official confirmation by the United States Parachute Association (USPA). posted: Feb 8th, 2006 The NSL News story on February 4 covered the current record attempts of the World Team in Thailand. It took BJ Worth, his staff and all World Tram members only four more days to complete the first 400-way formation in skydiving history. (more)
News Article Did you know that SkyVenture Orlando provided over 27 hours of free tunnel time in 2005?
posted: Feb 6th, 2006 The NSL 2005 season was also the 6th year of the NSL SkyVenture Competition at the same time. SkyVenture Orlando has been a true supporter of the National Skydiving League from the very beginning. In fact, SkyVenture Orlando opened its operation the same year when the NSL was formed and held its first championship event in 1998. The first SkyVenture wind tunnel in Orlando began the supporting efforts by sponsoring the NSL Championship 1998 at Skydive DeLand and continued the mutually successful business relationship in 1999 and 2000.
