posted: Nov 7th, 2000 The NSL News began last week to go back in time and publish information and interviews that could not be found at SKYLEAGUE.COM so far. The stories and the written interviews were published at the previous NSL website long ago and had not made it into the current NSL News database and archives. The first interview featured DeLand Norgies member Carl-Erik Tuv shortly before the USPA Nationals 2000. The next one took place after the event. posted: Sep 27th, 2000 The NSL News mentioned with the most recent NSL Live Talk on March 30th (Gary Smith) that the current situation in the skydiving world will offer an opportunity to feed information into the SKYLEAGUE.COM website that cannot be found anywhere else: "NSL Live Talk has been a regular part of SKYLEAGUE.COM coverage for a long time. It began as soon as the website was launched in its current form. In fact, interviews with teams, competitors, VIPs and officials in the sport were recorded even much earlier. Did you know that Impulse Rhode Island improved their average at Skydive New England?
posted: Jul 25th, 2000 Robbie Spencer's team Impulse Rhode Island keeps charging toward the top of the leaderboard of the Eastern Skies. At last weekend's second season meet of the New England Skydiving League, Impulse won the Advanced Class with a 12.2 average. The new team's season average of 11.6 is tying the FSL team Zephyrhills Frost in 4th place of the Eastern Skies. With these results, Impulse are slowly putting themselves in a position of medal contention at this year's USPA Nationals. Did you know that seven teams competed in Ohio?
posted: Jun 28th, 2000 The Great Lakes Skydiving League had a great season opener last weekend at AerOhio. Seven teams completed six rounds for the first GLSL rankings of the inaugural 2000 season. Two teams competed in the Advanced Class, five teams in the new Intermediate Class. 4 Dead in Ohio won the Overall Class with an average of 8.0 points. Between the two Advanced Class teams, Sintrifugal Force stayed ahead of Vertex. Both teams are training at AerOhio. Did you know that the New England Skydiving League has posted rules and basic information for the inaugural 2000 season?
posted: Mar 5th, 2000 The first set of NESL rules are following the basic outline of the National Skydiving League. They are specified according to the regional needs of the new league. The Pepperell Skydive Center and Skydive New England are the first hosts for two meets each. The dates are posted at the New England Skydiving League home page on Skyleague.com and the NSL Calendar 2000. Did you know that the New England Skydiving League is expecting a a very exciting inaugural 2000 season?
posted: Feb 12th, 2000 The new NESL Director Beth Murray has put together all the pieces in the beautiful New England area. Skydive New England and Pepperell Skydive Center are the first two hosts with two meets each. However, the new league is still open for other interested hosts, as well. Skydive New England is expecting four teams to participate in the league meets. Pepperell already has two teams committed for the first season.
