Topic was the UK Nationals 2012, and it was not the athletic part of the event that caught the NSL News attention. 4way Formation Skydiving competition in the United Kingdom has once again come to a new record participation this year. It was interesting to go back in time and give it some thought how the growth of the British 4way and 8way community can be explained. The Queen does not really have anything to do with that. Did you know that Sinner-G and Cross Keys Flashpoint battled in the A Class last weekend?
posted: Sep 21st, 2012 The battle in the Rookie Class between the Northwest Skydiving League and the Carolina Skydiving League, which concluded with a tie on the top of this part of the overall leaderboard, was not the only exciting cross-league competition. The NSL News report from the Northwest Skydiving League mentioned that NWSL team Sinner-G moved up into the A Class for the first time at an outdoor competition last weekend. Did you know that Rookie Class teams from the the Northwest and Carolina had a great battle last weekend?
posted: Sep 21st, 2012 The 2012 season of the Northwest Skydiving League has also come to its end, even though the indoor showdown with the Florida Skydiving League (iFLY Seattle - iFLY Orlando) will still continue for the remainder of the year. The two NWSL Rookie Class teams created an interesting overall leaderboard in this category last weekend, as there was a great race with the three Rookie Class teams of the Carolina Skydiving League. Blame Game (CASL) and Sloppy Joes (NWSL) both attended their third meet of the 2012 season and ended up tied in 1st place after the four rounds that both teams completed. Behind... (more)

Did you know that Airfix Fehrbellin had to work harder this year to win the Nord Cup?
posted: Sep 20th, 2012 Last weekend's overall leaderboard also included new scores from Germany. The German 4way teams who competed at the first part of the Nord Cup in May had shaken up the international leaderboard quite well and mixed up with teams from Texas and the Northern Plains. This time, the two teams from Carolina and the five teams from Germany finished in perfect order, and the US teams took the two top spots. Did you know that Thunder is waiting for challengers at the ISR Grand Prix 2012?
posted: Sep 19th, 2012 The NSL News reported on 1 September 2012 that Thunder would have to defend 2011 titles at the ESL Championship 2012 and then at the ISR Grand Prix 2012 after coming back from the 2nd place at the World Cup 2012. Of course, the title defense at the ESL Championship seemed to be impossible since NMP-PCH Hayabusa was planning a comeback to the event this year after winning in 2005, 2006 and 2007. However, it turned out that Hayabusa's Tail Roy Janssen could not jump, and Thunder almost managed to defend the title successfully. Hayabusa needed a jump-off round to win by two points. Did you know that CTR Optimum won the Brazilian Nationals for the 10th time?
posted: Sep 18th, 2012 The Brazilian Nationals 2012 did not bring any big surprises a few weeks ago. CTR Optimum won again and celebrated the team's 10th victory at the national championships. The current lineup (Daiton Ribeiro, Andre Ferraz, Fabio Diniz, Guillermo Gorg, Kalley Clementino on camera) won its second consecutive 4way title without any personnel changes. It was the third meet for CTR Optimum this year. The Brazilian team had launched the 2012 season at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012.
