posted: Sep 17th, 2012 The World Cup 2012 did not offer the next exciting battle between the currently three best 4way teams in the world, Aerodyne Aerokart (FR), Arizona Airspeed (US) and NMP-PCH Hayabusa (BE). However, the NSL News reported several other highlights of the event during the live coverage from Prostejov and the aftermath. posted: Sep 16th, 2012 The Carolina Skydiving League completed the 2012 season with the championship event in Raeford this weekend. Laura Dickmeyer, Golden Knights member and CASL Director, had just returned from her very successful trip to Prostejov in the Czech Republic where her team won the indirect competition with the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders in a surprising upset. News Article Did you know that NMP-PCH Hayabusa still sits on the 26.1 average?
posted: Sep 15th, 2012 Thunder and NMP-PCH Hayabusa both had well defined goals for the ESL Championship 2012. Thunder was aiming at the 22-average level, while Hayabusa wanted to get beyond the 26.1 average that the Belgian team has now posted two times this year. Both teams have to wait for the next opportunity, as the scores were below the goals after ten rounds in Moorsele. The NSL News reported earlier that Hayabusa had to give alternate Jeroen "Bob" Nollet his first serious meet opportunity since Tail Roy Janssen fell sick right before the start of the competition. News Article Did you know that Polaris and Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders are waiting for the final boost?
posted: Sep 14th, 2012 The NSL News goes back one more time to the female 4way competition at the World Cup 2012 where the leaderboard has been showing only two of the three teams, as the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders competed in the Open Class. An earlier story on 10 September 2012 did the aftermath from the perspective of the French team. Yesterday's story followed up more specifically with the Golden Knights situation. The three teams who competed in Prostejov in August are most likely the same ones who will be going after the medals at the Mondial 2012 in Dubai. There will most likely be a battle for the gold... News Article Did you know that the Golden Knights keep up the impressive scoring progression?
posted: Sep 13th, 2012 The story of the Golden Knights' female 4way lineup began when Team Leader Brian "BK" Krause succeeded in adding the new category to the US Army's competition team project. Recruiting of the lineup was completed at the end of the 2010 season. The 8way lineup had come back from Russia with silver medals, and the new and larger Golden Knights Formation Skydiving competition delegation launched the training program targeted at the gold medals in 2012. Two sets of gold medals that was: 8way and 4way Women. Sean Sweeney soon became the new 8way team captain, and Brian Krause could focus on guiding... (more)
News Article Did you know that Ireland celebrated the biggest and best national championship in history?
posted: Sep 12th, 2012 The Irish 4way community recently celebrated the biggest and best national championship in the country's history of Formation Skydiving competition. Eleven teams came together last weekend and applied the same competition draw that was used at the ESL Championship 2012. Last weekend's overall leaderboard shows how the Irish teams finished compared to the ESL teams. Two teams were visiting from outside of the Irish island and competed in the AAA Class. Satori White (UK) and DKUK (International), along with Fast Air and The Muppets, made this year's nationals also the biggest competition ever... (more)
