Did you know that 13 teams competed at Sportflight's Skydive Arena in Prague this week? posted: Feb 8th, 2013 The same 13 teams who competed at the January indoor competition of the Czech Republic Skydiving League came back to the Sportflight Arena in Prague this week on Thursday. It was the fourth of the six indoor meets that organizer Jan Klapka scheduled to keep his 4way teams and competitors in shape throughout the winter.
The three AAA Class teams in this event series have settled in their positions and not changed the rankings since the first meet in November 2012. Hvezdy is the only team in the AA Class and matched the 12.1 average of January exactly this week.

Did you know that Arizona Airspeed of 2013 competed with Airspeed 2011 last weekend? posted: Feb 7th, 2013 It is about time for the first judging videos of Arizona Airspeed's performance with the new lineup at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2013.
The videos are showing the Airspeed engine running very smoothly after very little training with the new lineup before the competition. Chris Farina looks as if he has been flying the Point slot forever, and the distance to the other US teams is the same as it has been in the past years.
It is obvious that the three reigning 4way world champions with the new Point have no serious competition in the USA where this year's USPA Nationals is the qualification... (more)

This time, the race for the final slot in the semifinals is the topic of the day.
The story on 1 January 2013 had shown what a great competition the four semi-finalists had with each other. Each of the teams had at least two highscores for a round. It was also a part of the race for the unofficial title of the amateur world champion.

Did you know that Florida won the first 2013 battle of the virtual indoor competition at iFLY Orlando? posted: Feb 5th, 2013 The 2013 season of the virtual indoor competition between the Florida Skydiving League at iFLY Orlando and the Northwest Skydiving League at iFLY Seattle had its first monthly duel in January, and Florida has taken the 1 - 0 lead. It was the closest competition between the two groups so far. In fact, it could not be any closer, as Florida won by one single point.
The friendly indoor competition project was launched in July last year, and the Northwest Skydiving League won the very first event. Each group has the whole month to practice the six sequences and post the best videos with the highest... (more)
Did you know that XL is back with the 2007 lineup at the World Challenge 2013? posted: Feb 4th, 2013 Several teams used the discounted registration fee for the World Challenge 2013 in time, and the number of teams went up significantly before the 1st of February. The 4way field is once again like an extended World Meet in the AAA Class competition, and the other categories are filling up quickly, as well.
It is an extended World Meet situation since not only the national teams are eligible for the indoor competition at Bodyflight Bedford. Other world class teams like XL, SDC Rhythm XP and Thunder can also show what they have to offer and get their scores posted on the same leaderboard.

Did you know that the battle for 2nd place was down to two teams after Round 9? posted: Feb 3rd, 2013 The 3-team battle for the 2nd place in the 4way competition at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2013 turned into a 2-team race after Round 9 on Sunday morning.
The USA CAN pickup team was not able to keep up any longer after being in touch with SDC Rhythm XP and the other pickup team Just In Time for so long. The last two rounds on Sunday morning would make its own grande finale for those three teams. Arizona Airspeed had secured the 1st place and $4,000 cash on Saturday and added two more points with the next highscore in Round 9.
Nothing changed between Just In Time and SDC Rhythm XP... (more)
