News Article Did you know that Polaris peak performs under the radar?
posted: Aug 30th, 2012 The Thursday coverage of the World Cup 2012 begins with Wednesday events. The female 4way competition is still in the spotlight, especially after the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders reduced the distance to the Golden Knights to one single point in Round 7 and Round 8. This battle in Prostejov is a preview of what can be expected in Dubai later this year. However, France and USA are not the only teams in this category who deliver top level performance this week. In fact, Polaris from Norway is actually even more consistently performing on the team's top level, while the Defenders had a slow start... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Golden Knights impress the opponents and the audience?
posted: Aug 29th, 2012 NMP-PCH Hayabusa lost two points in Round 6 and stands at a 24.4 average after Round 7. The next round will bring the leader to the 25-average level at the end of the second day. However, as mentioned earlier, the attention now turns to the Golden Knights. The female lineup of the US Army had a perfect meet until Round 6. The first flaw of the whole meet in missing a grip while building the T of Block 22 gave the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders an opportunity to win the first round, and they did so. France won the round by two points, but the Golden Knights were still in the lead by five points.... (more)
News Article Did you know that NMP-PCH Hayabusa went from 25 to 31 points in Round 5?
posted: Aug 29th, 2012 The NMP-PCH Hayabusa story continues with one more piece before the NSL News will give the very impressive performance of the Golden Knights special attention. The NSL Reality TV camera was following Hayabusa after Round 5 and during the preparations for Round 6. The procedures were interrupted and changed when only 25 points were posted after Round 5. The Hayabusa members knew before that it could be a critical situation. They had noticed that there was rain in the air when they climbed out for the Murphy Flake exit in Round 5. After the jump, they did not know whether the judges would be... (more)
News Article Did you know that it is a Hayabusa morning in Prostejov?
posted: Aug 29th, 2012 It's Hayabusa time on Wednesday morning, as the leader's first four rounds at the World Cup 2012 are now available for reviews. Of course, it is no surprise that the Belgian top contender for gold medals in Dubai has the lead in Prostejov. There is no serious competition for NMP-PCH Hayabusa this time. In fact, there are only two (Aerodyne Aerokart, Arizona Airspeed) maybe three (Sky Panthers) other 4way teams in the world who compete on the same performance level. Hayabusa knew that neither France nor USA would have their national teams at the World Cup. However, they decided to attend the... (more)
News Article Did you know that Round 4 brought many surprises and awakenings?
posted: Aug 28th, 2012 The scores are getting higher round by round, the slowest part of the meet is behind. The teams enjoy the higher numbers, however, more speed brings more potential for infringements, and the score sheets became more colorful in Round 3, and especially in Round 4. The Top 6 teams in the Open Class had collected a total of four points in the first two rounds of the meet, which both had 3-block sequences. The total damage for the same six teams only in Round 4 was nine points, and Thunder alone ate six of those nine points. Thunder's scoresheet did not look pretty, and the team was surprised... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Golden Knights put more pressure on Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders than ever before?
posted: Aug 28th, 2012 NMP-PCH Hayabusa lost two points in Round 3 and allowed SportLoto and Thunder once again to keep close in a round. It seems like Hayabusa has the same problem that Aerodyne Aerokart and Arizona Airspeed have mentioned earlier this year. It is difficult to get to the peak performance level if there is no pressure at all. The situation is completely different in the female 4way category. The adjusted leaderboard, with the French team added to Golden Knights and Polaris, shows that Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders is not only under pressure in Prostejov. The Golden Knights have caught up without a... (more)
