Did you know that the Russian 8way Nationals were over after Round 5? posted: Sep 29th, 2012 The NSL News reported the 4way scores of the Russian Nationals 2012 yesterday and now follows up with the 8way scores.
National team Sky Panthers Barkli had no serious competition in Tanay, Siberia, and the meet was concluded after five rounds. The scores are not really reflecting the current potential of the Russian 8way team for many reasons that go beyond the actual training and competition.
Barkli had posted a 19.0 average at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Skydiving Championships 2012 and now finished with a 17.0 average at a 5-round meet without serious competition.Russian Nationals 2012Round... (more)
Did you know that Sky Panthers Barkli won the Russian Nationals in Siberia? posted: Sep 28th, 2012 The Russian Nationals 2012 are over now and attracted seven Open Class teams to Siberia this year.
Sky Panthers Barkli's 4way lineup won quite easily, even though the host had recruited a world class 4way lineup for the competition in Tanay. The team in 2nd place only had a different name though. The same lineup has competed under Gradient Alpha in the past years, including the Russian Nationals 2011.

Did you know that BJ Worth invites only one bigway team to SkyQuest Florida 2012? posted: Sep 26th, 2012 The regular 2012 competition season is slowly coming to its end, and most of the national championship events on the planet are over by now. Only the Russian teams are currently in the middle of their main competition of the year, and the US teams get into their final preparations for the USPA Nationals 2012.
The other national champion teams have already set their eyes on the Mondial 2012 in Dubai, which includes the World Championship of Formation Skydiving. The NSL News will provide the usual live coverage of both events directly from the competition site.

Did you know that Skydive City hosted a Wind Damaged reunion at the final FSL meet of the regular 2012 season? posted: Sep 25th, 2012 Five more teams competed last weekend at Skydive City, but only one AAA Class team had the opportunity to experience the Super Sequence in Round 4. Teiwaz finished shortly behind the two AAA Class top teams from Texas in Round 4 and tied the Dallas Pulse score with a 23-pointer after two point deductions.
The main competition at Skydive City took place in the A Class where three teams attended the last meet of the regular 2012 season. The Super Sequence also trickled down into the A Class with the first three Random Formations (J-F-E) of the sequence and offered a great scoring opportunity.

Did you know that the Dallas Super Cup scores were boosted not only by a Super Sequence? posted: Sep 24th, 2012 The 2012 season is also over for the 4way teams in Texas, except for those who will travel to Eloy for the USPA Nationals in October or to DeLand for the NSL Championship in November.
The Dallas Super Cup concluded the 2012 season in a fashionable way, as the competition draw for last weekend included a Super Sequence in Round 4 (J-F-E-Q-N). A sequence of only Random Formations is nothing unusual for Rookie Class teams, and the A Class draw includes sequences with three Random Formations on a regular basis, as well.
