posted: Jan 19th, 2013 The new leaderboard was set a few days before the start of the meet, and it comes once again from in indoor competition. The competition draw has not been posted either at this point in time, and it has a good reason. Ben Liston, member of the unofficial US amateur champion team DNR, is hosting his annual SV New Hampshire 2013 this weekend. 33 teams are registered, and they all have to fly this morning to set the air speed for the competition rounds later today. posted: Jan 18th, 2013 The NSL News reported on 11 January 2013 that SDC Rhythm XP's new lineup was complete. Christy Frikken is the new Center Inside, Mikhail Markine has taken the Tail slot. JaNette (Center Outside) and Steve (Point) Lefkowitz continue in the front piece, Alex Bittner is on camera. The story included some details on how Rhythm and Christy Frikken's former team Perris Fury ran along and connected with each other for a few years. News Article Did you know that Round 8 was a turning point in 4way Women at the Mondial Dubai 2012?
posted: Jan 17th, 2013 The NSL News audience is usually performing very well and accurately when it comes to the prediction of results at upcoming meets. The NSL Polls for the Mondial Dubai 2012 were right on the spot between France - USA in 8way, USA - Belgium - France in 4way Open, and for the winner in VFS 4way. Only the prediction for the female 4way category was off the pace. The audience expected the Golden Knights in 1st place, and the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders won the gold medals. Russia's team Illusions had the bronze medals in the polls, but Polaris from Norway did not even give the Russian team a chance... (more)
News Article Did you know that the World Challenge 2013 includes the new Dynamic 4way event?
posted: Jan 16th, 2013 The first scores of the 2013 season came from the Czech Republic. They were generated at an indoor competition, as the weather in Central Europe does not allow much outdoor jumping in the winter time. The next scores will be posted this weekend at SkyVenture New Hampshire where Ben Liston is hosting his annual indoor competition. The NSL News will be at the competition site for live coverage. posted: Jan 15th, 2013 The last NSL News contribution for Blue Skies Mag was published after the live coverage of the Mondial Dubai 2012 and was only indirectly related to the event. The main focus was on the 10-year anniversary of live event coverage by the NSL News. The Mondial 2012 was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the special occasion. The athletic part of the event and little excursions to other topics here and there were covered comprehensively. Different Dubai stories are still making the news on a regular basis. News Article Did you know that France has a new lineup in the female 4way category?
posted: Jan 14th, 2013 The videos of Round 9 in the female 4way competition at the Mondial Dubai 2012 are coming along with news from France. Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders Amelie Tirman and Sophie Deremaux did their job successfully and can now peacefully and happily retire with two gold medals in their collection. France has a new lineup for the next two years. Perrine Sanchez continues together with Laurence Herve who missed the Mondial 2012 due to an injury a few months before the competition.
