Did you know that the NSL News overlooked the French double gold attempt in 2008? posted: Apr 26th, 2012 The NSL News has covered the biggest challenge in Formation Skydiving competition quite a few times in the past, the pursuit of winning gold medals in 4way and in 8way at the same World Championship of Formation Skydiving. No complete 4way lineup has ever achieved this, and only one single competitor can claim this unique accomplishment: Mathieu Bernier from France in Menzelinsk 2010.

Did you know that a 4time world champion in traditional 4way coaches VFS Team4speed? posted: Apr 25th, 2012 The NSL News introduced the French national 4way team in Vertical Formation Skydiving, Team4speed, with the story on 21 February 2012. The French world champions of 2010 had competed at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2012 and provided the NSL News with enough information for a team story of the meet experience.
It was time to follow up with a more personal introduction of the team members when Team4speed visited in DeLand for a spring training camp. The French VFS experts had scheduled their visit around the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 that was taking place at the same time.... (more)
Did you know that Thunder is still hoping for the showdown with Germany's Paratec-Saar? posted: Apr 24th, 2012 The NSL News reported on 28 February 2012 that there would be pressure on team Thunder at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012.
It would be the first outdoor competition for the Dutch/Belgian 4way combination where the amateur team would meet the best 4way teams in the world. Thunder had attended the World Challenge 2011 with most of the top 4way teams and won the ESL Championship 2011. However, the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship had both, the best 4way teams in the world at an outdoor competition, which was something special and new for the two Dutch and two Belgian members.

Did you know that Contrails posted a higher outdoor average last weekend than at the World Challenge 2012? posted: Apr 23rd, 2012 The leaderboard of the World Challenge 2012 on the front page finally had to make place for new scores, which were generated last weekend at the season opener of the Florida Skydiving League 2012 season.
However, one of the participating teams managed to have the team name once again on the current leaderboard. Contrails, one of the three national 4way project teams in Denmark, followed up with the first outdoor competition after the ten rounds in the Bodyflight Bedford flying chamber.

Did you know that the FSL Tunnel Kicker at iFLY Orlando begins to focus on outdoor meets? posted: Apr 22nd, 2012 The April Tunnel Kicker of the Florida Skydiving League at iFLY Orlando took place on the Tuesday of the week when the World Challenge 2012 drew the best 4way tunnel teams in the world to Bodyflight Bedford in the United Kingdom.
It did not hold back the newer generations of 4way competitors to attend the monthly event. Ari Perelman managed the FSL April Kicker, together with several other experienced coaches, and he also collected some footage for the NSL News this time.

Did you know that Dubai Assar Gold outscored the Red lineup for the first time? posted: Apr 21st, 2012 The NSL News story on 25 February 2012 brought an update from Dubai before the two teams from the hosting site of the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2012 launched their 2012 competition season.
Former Arizona Airspeed world champions Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard have been working with the young two teams after moving to Dubai last year, in 4way as well as recently in 8way. The NSL News story was a preview of the Dubai Asaar visits at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 and the World Challenge 2012 at the same time.
