Did you know that Satori had a good double header despite difficult circumstances? posted: May 1st, 2012 The other team that won $800 cash in the Shamrock Showdown Skins Game of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 was another visitor from Europe, UK's national 4way team Satori.
The $800 was a deserved consolation for the unfortunate Satori circumstances. Tail Aaron Faith could not get his US visa timely. Julia Foxwell, John McIver, Ian Hodgkinson and Satori videographer Dave Head decided to make the trip to DeLand anyway and found XL member Steve Hamilton to fill the slot for the outdoor competition.
Satori was also one of the eleven teams that competed at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship... (more)
Did you know that Portugal had the same 4way coach in 1999 and 2012? posted: Apr 30th, 2012 In the recent years, the Formation Skydiving community has become used to the fact that teams from Portugal attend the major international meets on a regular basis. It was not always like that. There was in fact a long break after the World Meet 2001 in Spain until Portugal came back with a national team at the World Meet 2010 in Russia.
Jorge Grade and Luís Candeias, current Atmosfera G4 members, competed for Portugal before the long break and now again. They are the longest standing 4way competitors from Portugal and were already in the lineup of 1999 that finished in 21st place with a 7.9... (more)

Did you know that this is not THEIR competition - it is OUR competition? posted: Apr 27th, 2012 It is time to continue with the coverage of the Russia 8way history that the NSL News began on 5 May 2012. The visit of the Russian 8way team Sky Panthers Barkli at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 had sparked the new topic, as several former 8way world champions are still active team members.
The last update on 10 March 2012 explained how the Russian 8way team came dangerously close to Arizona Airspeed in 1999 and lost the gold medals due to the penalty situation: "Russia had actually outscored Airspeed by six points (219 - 213) within working time. The judges did not like the Russian... (more)
