News Article Did you know that Joey Jones once again competes with Black Majick and anchors the NSL News?
posted: Apr 5th, 2012 Paul Mayer, host of the World Challenge 2012, has the same entertaining surprise for the audience that he offered last year in the Rookie Class competition. He has once again a Black Majick lineup that performs the belly flying sequences on the back. The only difference is the fact that his team has moved up into the A Class. The NSL Reality TV camera captured the team during their preparations for a training session and then filmed the Black Majick in the flying chamber. Preparing the jumps on the creepers is not easy as those are built to be used by belly flyers. However, the Black Majick... (more)
News Article Did you know that Arizona Airspeed, NMP-PCH Hayabusa and XL have completed their final tunnel training?
posted: Apr 5th, 2012 Indoor preparation for a competition is a little bit different compared to outdoor competition. The day before an outdoor meet is usually a light day with only a few jumps for most teams. This is difficult to do on a day before an indoor meet. The teams buy their tunnel time in blocks and not by a few minutes of flying time. Three of the top teams had scheduled their last training for Thursday, and the NSL-TV camera captured the last preparations by Arizona Airspeed, NMP-PCH Hayabusa and XL for the World Challenge 2012. There were no French teams at Bodyflight Bedford in the morning. The... (more)

posted: Apr 5th, 2012 The move of the NSL News from DeLand to Bedford has been completed successfully, and 4way competition is back as the main topic for the next four days. It's time for the World Challenge 2012. The first preview live from Bodyflight Bedford features activities at the wind tunnel on Wednesday evening. Many teams arrive earlier to get some additional indoor training time. The NSL News was present when three teams were in session for a few hours, Thunder, ISB Air Remscheid and Atmosfera G4. Thunder is back in full strength with the team's original Point, Wesley Claessens, who had to sit out for... (more)

News Article Did you know that the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders have caught up with the original lineup of 2010?
posted: Apr 3rd, 2012 The NSL News story on 14 March 2012 was a preview of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 and included a live NSL Talk with the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders. The French team was preparing for the competition in DeLand. It was not a very challenging task for reigning world champion Amélie Tirman and her three new team mates (Laurence Herve, Perrine Sanchez, Stéphanie Texier) plus videographer Rémy Grandcler, to win the meet in the female 4way category, as the competition from Norway (Polaris), USA (Golden Knights) and Canada (Crimson Fox) was not strong enough to get close to the French... News Article Did you know that the different helmet colors have a much longer history?
posted: Apr 2nd, 2012 The NSL News pointed out during the aftermath of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 that Arizona Airspeed competed with a new helmet design for the whole team. The story on 26 March 2012 provided the details. The same story mentioned that Airspeed is not the first top team that used different colors to make identification of the individuals easier. Sky Panthers Barkli have been using the same concept for many years and are still applying it. However, even the Sky Panthers were not the first ones, and the story goes much farther back in time. XL member Pete Allum brought to the attention... (more)
