News Article Did you know that Perris Fury has arrived at the very top?
posted: Jun 16th, 2009 Perris Fury won the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championship 2009 and beat Airspeed for the first time. Does it really count? What does last weekend's Fury victory actually mean for the top US contenders? First of all: it wasn't Airspeed Odyssey's team name that was on the leaderboard in Raeford. The 17 - 0 run remains officially intact. Mark Kirkby, Andy Delk, Thomas Hughes and John Eagle competed under Arizona Speed, as half of the team was missing. It does not seem to make a lot of sense to compare the scores too seriously. However, it still makes a lot of sense to take a closer look... (more)

posted: Jun 14th, 2009 The Rookie Class leaderboard at the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championship 2009 shows some incredible scores, the highest ones that have ever been posted on any NSL leaderboard. There is a reason for that, which relates to the rules for this specific indoor competition. There were only two competition classes, as of the rules for the dive pool and the sequences, where the teams could register for: the AAA/Open and the Rookie Class. All three teams which have their scores on this weekend's Rookie Class leaderboard, VTSD, Carolina Windfall and Just In Time, competed already in a higher... (more)

posted: Jun 13th, 2009 The scores of the first five rounds are official and on the leaderboard of the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championship 2009, and history seems to repeat itself once again. Perris Fury has been doing extremely well whenever it was time for the fastest sequences possible. The 59-pointer at the World Challenge 2009 was the latest example where Fury outscored the whole field, including Airspeed. The 52-pointer in Round 1 of this weekend's competition was the next example and put a distance of five points between Fury and Airspeed. Brian Krause confiremd that the Perris team looks very sharp... (more)

He is the new team captain of the Army's Formation Skydiving teams, the new 8-way lineup and the Golden Knights Black and Gold 4-way teams. The two 4-way teams Black and Gold consist of the members of the 8-way lineup, with one exception. Kurt Isenbarger does not train and compete in 8-way, but he is a member of the Black 4-way lineup, together with Brian Krause, Matt Davison and Sean Sweeney.
