News Article Did you know that Airspeed offers free coaching on two weekends this year?
posted: Dec 7th, 2009 The 2010 season begins with "work" for Arizona Airspeed's 4-way world champions. Airspeed will compete at the Valentines Meet in February, of course, then travel to Florida for the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010 and complete the spring action once again with the World Challenge 2010. However, Eliana Rodriguez, Craig Girard, Andy Delk and Mark Kirkby will first run a coaching camp on the team's home turf at Skydive Arizona in January. News Article Did you know that three former Russian 8-way world champions try again in 2010?
posted: Dec 5th, 2009 The NSL News broke news about a new Russian 8-way lineup with the story on 30 November 2009. The story went back in time and covered the successful Russian 8-way history. However, only two of the team members were introduced with this story, Sergey Yalpaev and Vladimir Arutyunov. The 8-way strength and experience of the new lineup comes mainly with two members who have been doing 4-way with the Sky Panthers in the past years. News Article Did you know that 28 teams are registered for Ben Liston's 2nd tunnel meet?
posted: Dec 4th, 2009 The NSL News reported on 4 November 2009 that Ben Liston and Brian Stephens, both former Mass Defiance members who competed with the Amphibious Attack Tigers and 8-way team Dallas Rogue at this year's USPA Nationals, were in the middle of organizing a new wind tunnel competition. The event is coming up this weekend, and Ben Liston updated the NSL News with more details. A total of 28 teams have signed up, which brings the field close to the maximum capacity of 30 teams. posted: Dec 3rd, 2009 Last not least, there was also a AAA Class competition at the NSL Championship 2009. The PD Ninjas and a second Teiwaz lineup, Teiwaz Falcon, competed for the NSL Shugar Cup this year. Both teams consisted of 4-way competitors who had already been in one or another Teiwaz lineup before this meet, with only one exception on Friday and Saturday, and a few more exceptions on Sunday. The Teiwaz Falcon members (Jim "Bu" Klinge - Center Outside, Bob Byrne - Point, Rodney Cruce - Center Inside, Robert Chromy - Tail) have all attended several FSL meets in various lineups in the past years. posted: Dec 2nd, 2009 The NSL News mentioned with the story on 28 November 2009 that a live interview with Christy Frikken would be uploaded soon. The Perris Fury member competed with Perris Jimani at the NSL Championship 2009. She filled the Center Outside slot for Anders Mattson, and the first five rounds of the competition between Perris Jimani and Teiwaz Eagle at SkyQuest 2009 in DeLand were uploaded with the same story. News Article Did you know that the World Challenge 2010 is now open for A Class teams?
posted: Dec 1st, 2009 Paul Mayer, owner of Bodyflight Bedford and host of the annual World Challenge indoor competition, is a competitor himself. He is not on a 4-way team, and he does not compete in Freeflying at his events, however, he has a very competitve attitude in other important events. The NSL News has always first been surprised and then impressed when he explained his goals for the next World Challenge and then followed up with the action.
