Did you know that two Scandinavian teams provided the next preview of the World Meet last weekend? posted: Jul 19th, 2010 The German teams completed seven rounds at the Mid-German Championships last weekend. Goal was a 10-round meet, but the weather did not cooperate well enough.
The secret of the person who filled the Tail slot for the injured Final Four Remscheid member Chris Schaefer was lifted soon after the scores and the video were posted. Dieter Kirsch, member of the German national lineups in 4-way and 8-way years ago, made himself available and helped out.

Did you know that Paratec-Saar has a new name and a new home? posted: Jul 18th, 2010 Scores from Germany have been added to the new leaderboard. Final Four Remscheid posted new numbers and is currently holding the 2nd place in the AAA Class behind the Pro Team from Finland. The NSL News provided background information of the German team in the story on 5 June 2010 after a 16.5 average performance in June.

Did you know that Finland's Pro Team posted the best scores at the best championships? posted: Jul 17th, 2010 The NSL News story on 3 May 2010 mentioned that Finland's Pro Team may join another battle in Russia. Finland's national team was expected to compete for the unofficial Scandinavian Championship at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010.
The new battle was the one for the unofficial title of the best amateur team in the world. The story on 5 July 2010 explained more why the Pro Team may also have a strong position in this exciting race within the competition in Menzelinsk, Russia.

Did you know that the Brits will also be cheering for Italy at the World Meet? posted: Jul 16th, 2010 The road to a set of medals at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010 in Menzelinsk, Russia, goes through Italy, as well.
The NSL News has covered the situation of the Italian national team Sinapsi a few times this year. The coverage began with a comprehensive update on 1 February 2010. The NSL News followed up on 17 April 2010 when Iceland's erupting volcano Eyjafjallajökull interfered with a scheduled training camp.

Did you know that NSL Reality TV features a day in the life of the Canadian Lemay family? posted: Jul 15th, 2010 The NSL News story on 8 July 2010 featured the meet videos of the Canadian Lemay family team Evolution at Skydive Chicago's Midway Battle 2010. The same story mentioned that the NSL News would visit the Lemay family in Canada and follow up with a report.
The Road to Russia included a stop in Canada for the NSL News. The visit at NouvelAir and Parachute Montreal, both run by Evolution member Michel Lemay and his partners, explained even more why the Canadian national team has become one of the best 4-way teams in the world.

Did you know that there was drama at the UKSL meet on Sunday? posted: Jul 14th, 2010 The NSL News story on 24 March 2010 explained why Joanne Hawley, member of the UK team Kaizen, missed the completion of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010. Coach Pete Allum had filled the slot for the remainder of the meet.
"Point Joanne Hawley had bad luck during the competition in DeLand and twisted her ankle. Coach Pete Allum filled the slot for the remaining rounds and the last training days in DeLand. Joanne Hawley will try to be back with her team for the indoor competition."
