posted: Jan 26th, 2010 The field of teams for the World Challenge 2010 is growing rapidly, as it was expected to happen. In fact, the number of teams that are already registered for the event is higher than ever before at this point in time. The NSL News story on 1 January 2010 had provided the last update with the teams that were the first ones to sign up for this year's tunnel meet at Bodyflight Bedford. The number has almost doubled since then, and the competition is still over two months away. posted: Jan 25th, 2010 The NSL News visit at Skydive Sebastian for Becca's Bootie Boogie last weekend eventually related to another story that covered this year's plans of the 8-way team Perris Moxie. The Moxie story was posted on 21 January 2010. The story mentioned that former Sebastian Tempest member Kris Peterson will be back in the Moxie lineup this year. Another story, which announced Becca's Bootie Boogie on 18 January 2010, also mentioned that Kris Peterson would help to organize in Sebastian last weekend. posted: Jan 23rd, 2010 The NSL News story on 18 January 2010 brought Becca's 2nd Annual Bootie Boogie at Skydive Sebastian to the attention of the NSL News audience. The short distance to Sebastian from the NSL headquarters and the people to meet at the event was tempting enough for the NSL News to quickly change the plans for the weekend and make the 2-hour trip south. The NSL News will make the same trip at least two more times this year to cover the meets of the Florida Skydiving League 2010. News Article Did you know that Kaktus Hunter plans to get to the Russian top level this year?
posted: Jan 22nd, 2010 The World Challenge 2010 will be the 4th time that the Russian team Kaktus Hunter will travel to Bedford for the world's biggest and most popular indoor competition. Egor Gusev (Inside Center), Andrei Kharitonov (Outside Center), Katya Kharitonova (Point) and Anna Panasyuk (Tail) have competed almost as many times in the wind tunnel as the team has attended outdoor meets in the past three years. The indoor scoring progression at the World Challenge has been impressive (16.6 - 22.2 - 23.9) in the past three years, and Kaktus Hunter is not planning to slow down. (more)
News Article Did you know that Perris Moxie has great plans for the 2010 season?
posted: Jan 21st, 2010 Perris Fury's Chris Farina already provided the NSL News with some feedback of the competition at the Dubai Championship from his team's perspective on 15 January 2010. His team mate and Center Outside Christy Frikken now added a few thoughts from her own view. She said that the scores were great, considering that it was the first meet of the 2010 season and that the teams exited from the Bell 212 helicopter. News Article Did you know that that Norway has a new lineup for the female 4-way competition?
posted: Jan 20th, 2010 The NSL News story on 20 October 2009 (Archives > 2009 > News > Search for: "Trude Sviggum") had introduced Norway's new national 4-way team for the Open Class. The same story mentioned in the last paragraph that Norway will also have a new 4-way lineup for IPC's female category. The plans of the new team have now been finalized, and Norway's IPC Delegate of the past years, Trude Sviggum, provided the information.
