Did you know that DiZturbia is moving up meet by meet? posted: Aug 21st, 2009 The last videos of the Florida Skydiving League's August meet have been uploaded and are now available for reviews.
The complete set of the latest FSL videos include the six rounds of Z-Hills AAA Class team DiZturbia. The team members (Jaime Cruce - Point, Christine Freiherr - Center Outside, Sarah Knipling - Tail, Laura Song - Center Inside) moved up into the AAA Class with this lineup at the beginning of the 2009 season and have shown an impressive progression (8.5 - 10.3 - 11.7) meet by meet.

Did you know that videos of the Russian Nationals 2009 are now available for reviews? posted: Aug 20th, 2009 The NSL News goes back to the Russian Nationals 2009, which had its coverage between August 3 and 7. Black Cat won with a 20.9 average after ten rounds, three points ahead of archrival Skylight Barkli with three Sky Panthers. Kaktus Hunter won the bronze medals after a jumpoff with Cross Road.
The details of this competition were already covered with the three meet stories. Most of the videos are now available for reviews, as they have been uploaded to the Russian version of YouTube.

Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP is now dangerously close to the Mass Defiance record? posted: Aug 19th, 2009 The NSL News story on 12 August 2009 covered the August meet of the Midwest Skydiving League. Seven teams competed at Skydive Chicago, both AAA Class teams (SDC Furies XP, SDC Rhythm XP) completed all ten rounds of the fast AAA Class competition draw, while all other teams went through the 6-round meet as usual. Did you know that Scott Latinis observed his 8-way team mate from the distance? posted: Aug 18th, 2009 The popular NSL Gloves recently had a free advertisement when Texas veteran 4-way and 8-way competitor Scott Latinis was filmed by Perris Fury member Chris Farina. Both participated in a demo jump for T-Mobile over San Francisco, and Scott Latinis wears the NSL Gloves on the video.

Did you know that the World Cup 2009 includes several skydiving events? posted: Aug 17th, 2009 The FAI World Cup 2009 is the next major 4-way event coming up in two weeks and brings together the best 4-way teams in the world, except any teams from the USA. The NSL News goes back to the German Nationals 2009 where the German national team FSC Eisenach-Paratec jumped up above the 20-average and into the top level of 4-way competition with a 20.8 average after ten rounds.

Did you know that the first meet videos of the FSL meet at Skydive City are available? posted: Aug 16th, 2009 The Florida Skydiving League completed the August meet with six rounds successfully on Saturday at Skydive City. The weather maps showed heave weather systems all around Florida for the weekend. However, the FSL teams and competitors were lucky and never had to interrupt the smooth operation. The first videos and photos can now be viewed.
