posted: Mar 29th, 2008 The first event day of the World Challenge 2008 began with the official briefing in the morning. Paul Mayer himself welcomed the teams and competitors and gave a brief overview of the rules and procedures. The meeting hangar was crowded. 40 teams and their friends and staff filled the hangar with more than 200 people. The NSL-TV camera captured parts of the meeting and a walk through the hangar. News Article Did you know that the NSL News went on the Bodyflight Bedford Tour 2008?
posted: Mar 28th, 2008 The staff ay Bodyflight Bedford is fine-tuning the event site of the World Challenge 2008, while the teams are getting ready for the start of the competition tomorrow morning. Some of the teams have been in Bedford already for days and have collected hours of tunnel time, while others are using the last day to get familiar with the windtunnel and the facilities. A few teams will only use the official 3-minute training session tomorrow morning to warm up. News Article Did you know that teams of all competition classes won cash in DeLand?
posted: Mar 27th, 2008 Two more days until the start of the World Challenge 2008, and the NSL News completes the official eight rounds of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2008 just in time. The videos of the teams that continued with Rounds 9 and 10 will be uploaded later. Round 8 was the last round of the Skins Game. Skydive DeLand sponsored the round with $400 cash. Teiwaz won the money after handicap and forwarded it to the team in second place after handicap. The four former Teiwaz members of Sebastian Tempest appreciated the move and the cash from Skydive DeLand. (more)

posted: Mar 26th, 2008 The aftermath of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2008 and the preparations for the World Challenge 2008 are being interrupted for another part of Fastrax' John Hart's 4-way tips. He covers clean and clear separation of grips and the position of the team videographer this time. The new 4-way tips come along with an opportunity to learn the 4-way science in the real world. Two competitors of the Mideast Skydiving League, Matthew Hunt and Greg Rick, have formed a player coach team with John Hart and are looking for a fourth member for the new team project. (more)

posted: Mar 25th, 2008 Round 7 of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2008 saw Airspeed Odyssey coming back and posting a new highscore for a round after losing three points to France Maubeuge in the fast Round 6. The Skins Game also had a new winner in this round. Monster Energy was the sponsor for Round 7. The energy drink has been supporting NSL events and the participating teams for a few years with product and now added $300 cash to the jackpot for this year's Shamrock Showdown.
