News Article Did you know that Papea missed the European bronze medals by six points?
posted: Oct 5th, 2023 The series of national outdoor championships after the conclusion of the 23rd FAI World Cup of Formation Skydiving continued in Spain. It was the national team Papea who had to defend their national title a month after Round 10 at Skydive Voss in Norway. The competition in Spain was a completely different story compared to the previous visit in Norway, where Papea had to work for their established Top 10 position. Papea were actually expected to be one of the top contenders for the 5th place, right behind the four medal contenders, as the latest NSL Power Rankings were showing on August 18th,... (more)

The new October sequences have been posted and are offering the usual indoor training opportunities in the six ICL categories, which are reaching down to the very 4-way grass-root level for a whole month. The combined leaderboard of the event in Norway is also showing XPG4 in 5th place, and... (more)
News Article Did you know that Jeremie Rollett and Mathieu Bernier met again in Norway and France?
posted: Oct 1st, 2023 Qatar's Formation Skydiving delegation sent an 8-way team to a world championship for the first time in Dubai 2012. The Falcons finished in 10th place with a 10.1 average. They missed the next world meet in Prostejov 2014 and were back in 4th place two years later at Skydive Chicago 2016 with a 14.6 average. The Falcons won their first FAI medals with coach Gary Smith and the 3rd place with a 17.0 average in Australia 2018. The 18.7 average at the FAI Tanay Mondial in Russia 2021 with new coach Jeremie Rollett was not enough for a medal position, as France was back with a strong lineup after... (more)
News Article Did you know that happy thoughts of Norway caused the Airspeed damage in Raeford?
posted: Sep 29th, 2023 The NSL News gave Round 1 in the 4-way AAA Class categories (Open/Advanced) at the USPA Nationals 2023 special attention a day after it happened on September 18th. The update next day provided a look at the Arizona Airspeed performance in this specific round from different angles, while it was still a shocking experience for the team and the audience. The observations of judges and audience would be almost meaningless without the direct feedback from the team. The NSL News had to wait for the right time until NSL Live Talk with Arizona Airspeed became possible at the end of the week. The last... (more)

posted: Sep 28th, 2023 Yesterday's NSL News update from France and the country's national outdoor championship earlier this month included once again a connection to one of the most popular topics - the transition of former 4-way juniors to outdoor competition as the youngest generation of 4-way seniors. Three 4-way junior team mates of many years in the Aerokart Ak'demie school in Paris, Tom Mattoni, Cameron Malie and Oscar Massier, met each other in Gap-Tallard to compete for the French national outdoor medal positions earlier this month. Tom Mattoni is already a member of the French national team in 4-way Open... (more)
