Did you know that Sequenz compete for Denmark in Norway? posted: Jun 29th, 2023 The NSL News has followed the team Sequenz from Denmark since it was founded in 2007. Vibeke Birk Tideman was an original member, and the story of her comeback to 4-way training and competition with a new lineup was documented in the middle of Denmarks' Outdoor Nationals 2021. Sequenz won the qualification for the next outdoor world championship, and the NSL News followed up on 16 July 2021.

Did you know that Midwest teams are opponents and partners at the same time? posted: Jun 28th, 2023 Two of the strongest U.S. teams are located in the country's Midwest region, and they represent two different skydiving centers, Skydive Chicago (SDC Rhythm XP) and Skydive Midwest (SDMW NEXT). The teams are athletically opponents, while they work together in many ways.
Even the team's hosts, Skydive Chicago and Skydive Midwest, have recently worked together quite closely. They teamed up to run USPA's national skydiving championships together. Did you know that Amnesya and Aurora compete for Italy and Sweden in 4-way Open in Norway? posted: Jun 27th, 2023 The NSL Power Rankings in 4-way Open of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 in Voss, Norway, needed a few adjustments, after more information became available. 18 teams were listed on the 4-way Open Class leaderboard when the previous NSL Power Rankings were posted on June 22, and the number has gone up to 22 at this point in time.
Three more Dutch teams have joined national 4-way Open Class team Out Of The Blue, and Italy will be represented this time, as well. There was no 4-way Open Class team from Italy at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2022, after a perfect record of participation at outdoor... (more)
Did you know that German teams may keep reaching out for FAI medal positions? posted: Jun 25th, 2023 Meltemi Oceanside Illertissen was the German 4-way team who won the AAA Class competition at the Paranodon Cup and on the combined leaderboard. They were not facing very strong opposition and won each of the ten rounds at least by two points.
However, winning the event was not the main purpose for the German national outdoor team in 4-way Women. The new lineup needed competition practice and experiences with new team member Franziska Wiesler before traveling to Voss in Norway for the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023.

Did you know that German 4-way teams won all four categories last weekend? posted: Jun 24th, 2023 The majority of the teams who created the combined leaderboard last weekend competed at the Paranodon Cup in Illertissen. Ten German teams and Air-W from Switzerland attended the annual 4-way competition.
The German home teams did not only dominate the combined leaderboard in numbers of participation. They also had the winning teams in each of the four categories. They did not have international opponents in the A Class, while each of the other three categories featured teams from either the United States (Northern California) or from the Czech Republic.

Did you know that the field of teams for the outdoor world cup has grown significantly? posted: Jun 22nd, 2023 The first preview of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 with the NSL Power Rankings in 4-way Open was showing a leaderboard with the first eight teams that were confirmed for the NSL News at the beginning of the month. It was mainly related to the world's Top 4 teams who will get together for their next showdown, this time in Voss, Norway.
Nothing has changed and will change until they start the outdoor world cup with Round 1 and allow a new evaluation of the current situation after Round 10 at the end of August. However, the field of teams in all events has grown in the meantime, and the number... (more)
