Did you know that the HF Cubs are warming up for the FAI Indoor World Cup? posted: Dec 15th, 2021 14 of the 15 teams in November were back for the second meet of the Czech Tunnel League in December, despite the ongoing implications of the corona virus crisis. Only the new Elezemky 2-2 combination of Elements and Mimozemky could not follow up on their debut in November.
The HF Cubs are already showing progression after resuming in November from almost a complete 1-year break. Did you know that the 2022 season could feature a new exciting 8-way race? posted: Dec 14th, 2021 The 6th Dubai International Parachuting Championship was completed last weekend, and it had the smallest participation since the event was launched in 2010. The first DIPC had only leaderboards in 4-way Open and 4-way Women, and a total of 18 teams (14 - 4) traveled to Dubai in 2010.
The DIPC eventually became one of the most popular Formation Skydiving competitions, and it included other skydiving disciplines, as well. Did you know that the Qatar Falcons were tied in 1st place after Round 3? posted: Dec 13th, 2021 Qatar's Formation Skydiving delegation at the USPA Nationals 2021 included the 4-way teams Cheetahs and Lions and the national 8-way team, the Falcons. Qatar's national 4-way team, the Tigers, FAI silver medalists at this year's outdoor world meet, had to compete at the CISM World Championships and could not make it to Eloy timely.
It was not the first visit of the Falcons 8-way teams at USPA Nationals. In fact, Qatar's 8-way team's visits to the United States began in 2012 on the 8-way Intermediate Class leaderboard. They came back three years later and have not missed the annual visit in the... (more)
Did you know that Germany's national indoor and outdoor teams are split in 4-way Women? posted: Dec 12th, 2021 The recent visit of the German national team in 4-way Open, Airbus Oceanside Illertissen, was an opportunity for the NSL News to learn more about the team plans for the next world meet season in 2022. However, Airbus also provided other interesting Formation Skydiving competition news from their country.
The German situation in 4-way Women has been catching the attention of the NSL News several times, as well, especially after the national team Skynamite's 2018 lineup disbanded and made new plans with two new team members. The NSL News covered the personnel change with the update on May 26th.

Did you know that Skydive Midwest NEXT and Perris Jets members have a competition history together? posted: Dec 11th, 2021 An interesting duel played out in the middle of the 4-way Open Class field at the USPA Nationals 2021. Perris Jets and Skydive Midwest NEXT battled for the highest spot behind the medal positions.
The Midwest team is working on getting to the top spots in the 4-way Open Class at USPA Nationals, after winning the Intermediate Class gold medals in 2015, Advanced Class gold a year later and then competing once in the Open Class competition of 2017.
