Did you know that there was an internal South African race for USPA Advanced Class medals in 2001? posted: Jun 1st, 2021 Identity Crisis was the next and third Advanced Class champion in 2001, a team name that was not well know. In fact, the New England team competed only once under this name, while the team members were quite active in the 4-way community.
Robbie Spencer of the South African FAI bronze medalists in 1997, DeLand Equanimity, was finally eligible for USPA medals, after winning the Advanced Class the previous year as a guest team with Barry Jive's Uptown 5, together with Michelle Wenk.

Did you know that Airbus member Alex Prendinger faces German world meet double-duties this time? posted: May 30th, 2021 The NSL News reported on May 24th that Airbus replaces Oceanside AtomiX as the German national team in 4-way Open at the FAI Tanay Mondial 2021. Fortunately, the German skydiving federation (DFV) and national coach Robert Trögele had no problem with sanctioning Airbus quickly as the substitute team in this category.

Did you know that Teiwaz copied Frost on the USPA Advanced Class leaderboard of 2000? posted: May 28th, 2021 Teiwaz became the second USPA Advanced Class champion with the current format, after Frost in 1999. The original Teiwaz lineup (Mary Inhoffer, Pamela Geoffrey, Mark Stose, Kurt Gaebel, Joshua Filho on camera) began with training and competition in 1999 and attended their first USPA Nationals when Frost won the Advanced Class title.
The Teiwaz situation at the USPA Nationals 2000 was exactly the same as it was for Frost a year earlier. The two teams on the top of the Advanced Class leaderboard (Barry Jive's Uptown 5 and Optic Nerve) had signed up for the Advanced Class competition without eligibility... (more)
Did you know that no German 4-way Women team will travel to Russia? posted: May 26th, 2021 The complete German Formation Skydiving delegation for FAI/ISC events in the traditional events (4-way Open, 4-way Women, 8-way Open) seemed to be in jeopardy when Oceanside AtomiX recently announced that the reigning 4-way Open Class champions will not represent Germany at the FAI Tanay Mondial 2020 this August.
However, the German skydiving federation (DFV) and national coach Robert Trögele reacted quickly and asked the runner-up of the last national championships in 2019, Airbus Illertissen, if they were ready for traveling to Russia as the substitute team in 4-way Open.

Did you know that Frost started and finished on the Open Class leaderboard? posted: May 26th, 2021 The NSL News launched the new series of the Advanced Class history and the team career of the USPA champions in this category with the first official winner, ZSpot from Skydive City, even though the Advanced Class of 1998 was not the same as it is today.
In fact, a complete overview of all USPA Advanced Class champions between 1999 and 2017 was already posted by the NSL News on 6 November 2017. Two more different teams have won the Advanced Class title ever since, Savage XP in 2018 and Redline XP in 2019, both with player-coach Kirk Verner in the lineup.

Did you know that Airbus replaces Oceanside AtomiX at the FAI Tanay Mondial? posted: May 24th, 2021 The NSL News covered the 4-way situation in Germany comprehensively when a change in the power structure occurred at the national championships of 2019. In fact, the team career of the new German 4-way champion, Oceanside AtomiX, has been well documented by the NSL News ever since the team started with the original lineup in 2013.
