News Article Did you know that Paraclete XP scores and videos for December complete the ICL 2020 leaderboard?
posted: Jan 27th, 2021 The 2020 leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League is finally complete, even though it does not look much like that. The corona virus pandemic put a large hole into it, and it will probably still take a while until it looks again like it did at the end of the 2019 season. Nothing has changed on the top of the leaderboard where Hurricane Factory and Paraclete XP keep dominating the monthly events. However, the ICL Midwest team, with SDMW NEXT members Megan George and Lauren Byrd organizing the events, joined the Indoor Cloud League only in August 2020 and won three of the five months. There is a... (more)
News Article Did you know that Elliot Byrd will be back at the world meet for the U.S. delegation?
posted: Jan 3rd, 2021 The ICL Midwest team added 104 points to the 14+ leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League in December. It concludes the ICL 2020 season for the Midwest team, which is headed by the SDMW NEXT members and was launched by Lauren Byrd in August 2020. The ICL Midwest team submitted scores and videos for all six categories each month ever since and posted the highest total in three of the five months, once in August with the Top 3 teams (Hurricane Factory, Paraclete XP, ICL Midwest) all on the same leaderboard. ICL Midwest and Paraclete XP are the only teams on the 14+ leaderboard with scoring numbers... (more)
News Article Did you know that iFLY Dallas completed the third consecutive Indoor Cloud League month after the comeback?
posted: Dec 29th, 2020 The month of December is still not over yet, and the second complete set of six Indoor Cloud League scores and videos for the December sequences have already been posted. The Hurricane Factory was first in the middle of the month, as the NSL News reported on December 21st. The Czech teams had only a 2-week window to use the 14-foot flying chamber in Prague between two lock-downs. Jan Klapka managed to activate enough teams for a total of 137 ICL points. Kyle Hermberg now followed up with a team of twelve participants and coaches at iFLY Dallas before the month and the year go by. A total... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Czech indoor teams used their 2-week window successfully?
posted: Dec 21st, 2020 The NSL News update on December 4th had explained the current situation on the 14+ annual leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League. It has obviously been a very strange year, and the ICL leaderboards are basically reduced to a database for teams, scores, videos and additional information. The monthly events are still competitive, with highscores and winners in the six ICL categories, even though the annual leaderboard is very skewed due to the different situations at the participating wind-tunnels. It is interesting that it was still a competitive situation at the time of the last update, mostly... (more)
News Article Did you know that the 2020 leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League is changing?
posted: Dec 4th, 2020 Kyle Hermberg's Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Dallas was back with a new and complete set of six scores and videos in November, as well. iFLY Dallas had a 6-month break after the first three months of the year and restarted in October. The total of 92 points for the month of November actually moved the iFLY Dallas team up and ahead of iFLY Tampa in the skewed 2020 rankings. Most of the participants of the October event were back in the iFLY Dallas lineups, and Kyle Hermberg also welcomed a few new 4-way fans. Four different lineups produced the total of 92 points in the six categories.... (more)
News Article Did you know that Paraclete XP scrambled for Indoor Cloud League October and November scores?
posted: Dec 3rd, 2020 The Indoor Cloud League update on December 1st reported great participation at the NSL Tunnel Kicker of the ICL Midwest team. The same update mentioned that it was more difficult for Paraclete XP's ICL team to collect scores and videos due to the busy outdoor schedule for organizers Jeana Billings and Morgan Womble in October/November. They train and compete with XPG4, the reigning U.S. indoor champions in 4-way Women. XPG4 is an outdoor team aiming at the top spot in the world with the current lineup. That's a long-term goal, and the team first has to win the next national outdoor championship... (more)
