Did you know that Satori won last weekend's AAA Class competition? posted: Jun 9th, 2008 UK team Satori is still on the top of last weekend's leaderboard in the AAA Class, which will not change any more. The first meet of the Coupe de France 2008 was completely weathered out. Germany's national team in the female category, Chicas, holds the second place of 12 teams in the AAA Class.
Satori just completed a 9-day training camp at Hibaldstow in the United Kingdom before the meet. Satori's Center Inside Liz Matthews said that it is rare for a team to do more than weekend jumping in the UK:

Did you know that UK team Phobia keeps climbing up the ranks and classes? posted: May 31st, 2008 The AA Class competition at the season opener of the UK Skydiving League 2008 this month was already as tight as can be. The first three teams were separated by two points after the four rounds of the meet. Team Phobia, in 3rd place with a 13.3 average, is new to the AA Class and has been moving up a category every year.
Phobia was formed back in 2006 and entered 4-way competition in the Rookie Class. The team has now started its third year in the UKSL and consists of Laura Batterbee, Richard Head, Kate Morris and Graham Wilkins. Kate Morris replaced Tom Grocutt at the end of the 2007 season.... (more)
Did you know that you can come and have a go in the UK if you think you're hard enough...? posted: May 19th, 2008 Earlier NSL News articles mentioned an upswing in 4-way participation this year so far. Last weekend's numbers confirm this upswing once again. Florida Skydiving League teams in Sebastian moved the attendance number at a May meet up from three (2006) and four (2007) to eight last weekend.
The situation was the same in the United Kingdom. Seven teams competed at the May meet in 2007, seventeen at the June meet last year. Did you know that 4-way is as popular as ever in Great Britain? posted: Jun 9th, 2007 The actual meet story wraps up the coverage of the second UK Grand Prix competition of the 2007 season on June 2, while teams from New England, Northwest and Texas are already in full swing this weekend. It's the season opener in the Northwest and in Texas, the New England Skydiving League holds its second meet of the 2007 season. This time, Mass Defiance plans to put the team's own first 2007 scores on the leaderboard. Did you know that last weekend's first NSL-TV video features the AA Class winner Wingnutz? posted: Jun 6th, 2007 The coverage of last weekend's event in Great Britain is far from complete at this point. The second meet of UK's Grand Prix event series in 2007 had the best attendance of all nine competitions, at least in the synchronized competition classes, and it deserves special attention. (more)
