News Article Did you know that new NSL-TV videos feature teams from Sweden, UK and Ireland?
posted: Jun 19th, 2008 The Russian Nationals 2008 are still on a hold after four rounds, and NSL-TV goes back to the May 31 and June 7 meet weekends in the meantime. Both events offered the opportunity to watch videos of two more national teams. The first competition in Sweden this year on May 31 brought the attention back to a Swedish team that was introduced by the NSL News on 13 February 2008. Blue Spirits had competed at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2008 and opened the 2008 season with a 13.1 average after ten rounds in DeLand. News Article Did you know that UK team Wingnutz entered the third competition class in three years?
posted: Jun 13th, 2008 The NSL News story on 9 June 2008 covered last weekend's competition of the United Kingdom Skydiving League (UKSL) in Netheravon. The first part of the story provided an update of Satori's current situation before additional information of the meet was provided by Chris Hollis, Formation Skydiving representative for the British Parachute Association (BPA). Videos of the UKSL competition followed the meet information, kindly provided by CamScore, the DZ-TV and judging system that has also covered the World Challenge 2008. News Article Did you know that Satori won last weekend's AAA Class competition?
posted: Jun 9th, 2008 UK team Satori is still on the top of last weekend's leaderboard in the AAA Class, which will not change any more. The first meet of the Coupe de France 2008 was completely weathered out. Germany's national team in the female category, Chicas, holds the second place of 12 teams in the AAA Class. Satori just completed a 9-day training camp at Hibaldstow in the United Kingdom before the meet. News Article Did you know that UK team Phobia keeps climbing up the ranks and classes?
posted: May 31st, 2008 The AA Class competition at the season opener of the UK Skydiving League 2008 this month was already as tight as can be. The first three teams were separated by two points after the four rounds of the meet. Team Phobia, in 3rd place with a 13.3 average, is new to the AA Class and has been moving up a category every year. Phobia was formed back in 2006 and entered 4-way competition in the Rookie Class. The team has now started its third year in the UKSL and consists of Laura Batterbee, Richard Head, Kate Morris and Graham Wilkins. Kate Morris replaced Tom Grocutt at the end of the 2007 season.... posted: May 19th, 2008 Earlier NSL News articles mentioned an upswing in 4-way participation this year so far. Last weekend's numbers confirm this upswing once again. Florida Skydiving League teams in Sebastian moved the attendance number at a May meet up from three (2006) and four (2007) to eight last weekend. The situation was the same in the United Kingdom. Seven teams competed at the May meet in 2007, seventeen at the June meet last year. Last weekend's event in Langar had a total number 22 teams competing in the four competition classes. News Article Did you know that 4-way is as popular as ever in Great Britain?
posted: Jun 9th, 2007 The actual meet story wraps up the coverage of the second UK Grand Prix competition of the 2007 season on June 2, while teams from New England, Northwest and Texas are already in full swing this weekend. It's the season opener in the Northwest and in Texas, the New England Skydiving League holds its second meet of the 2007 season. This time, Mass Defiance plans to put the team's own first 2007 scores on the leaderboard. The new scores will be posted as soon as possible, here is the meet story with more details from the last meet in Great Britain. (more)
