Did you know that A Class teams battled in Great Britain last weekend? posted: May 10th, 2007 The Grand Prix competition series in Great Britain launched its first competition of the 2007 season last weekend. The 4-way meet was actually the third event that took place on May 5 - 6, together with the New England Skydiving League (NESL) and the Belgian Skydiving Trophy (BST).
Unfortunately, the competition draw was only synchronized between the teams in New England and Belgium due to a communication error with the Grand Prix management. The UK teams had their own competition draw this time, and they will be back within the network at the next meet on June 2.

Did you know that British teams kick off the 2007 season this weekend? posted: May 3rd, 2007 The upcoming meet weekend includes the 2007 season openers for two European competition leagues, as well. The worldwide NSL network will connect the 4-way competitions as in the past years. The competition draws will be synchronized, and the scores will be posted on a combined leaderboard.
Great Britain's Grand Prix series of Formation Skydiving competitions has the first 4-way meet scheduled for the upcoming weekend. The NSL News had just visited the United Kingdom in April to report live from the World Challenge 2007 at the Bodyflight Bedford wind tunnel. (more)
Did you know that a Rookie Class race concluded the British Grand Prix 2006 season? posted: Sep 29th, 2006 The 4-way Grand Prix series in Great Britain came to the end of the 2006 season on the same weekend when the NSL Playoffs 2006 took place. The 5th Grand Prix competition completed a very successful year with many new teams, great competition and competitive scores.
The British Grand Prix joined the European Skydiving League on a full scale this year and included all four competition classes throughout the five meets of the 2006 season. Did you know that wind tunnels and synchronized competitions build new world class teams in the UK? posted: Jul 26th, 2006 Last weekend's international competition also included the 3rd event of the 4-way Grand Prix 2006 in Great Britain and the 3rd event of the 4-way league in the Czech Republic. The scores have already been posted for a while, and two British teams have also provided meet videos.
Wingnutz, last weekend's overall winner of the international A Class competition, features the team's 10-pointer in round six of the meet in Great Britain. The 10-pointer for the A Class sequence (21-Q) was the highest score in this round. Wingnutz finished the 6-round competition with a 10.2 meet average. (more)
Did you know that Great Britain has the strongest Rookie Class competition? posted: Jul 3rd, 2006 The NSL News is still collecting information for a detailed story covering the results of the Russian Nationals 2006, which were posted at the end of last week. The 8-way competition was completed after nine rounds, the reigning champion and national team, R.T. Evolution Pro, won with an 18.1 average, and the scores have been added to the leaderboard.

Did you know that 23 teams set a record turnout at the first Grand Prix event in Great Britain? posted: Jun 13th, 2006 The first Grand Prix event in Great Britain this year was scheduled for May 13 - 14. Unfortunately, the NSL News story on May 16 had to report bad news since the meet was completely weathered out. However, there was already great interest in May, and the participation at last weekend's new attempt to launch the 2006 season reflected the excitement of the UK teams to finally get it going.
The 23 teams used all four competition classes to show where they are at the beginning of the competition season, and the meet included fierce races for the first Grand Prix medals in 2006. Especially the A... (more)
